Re: Polls 2019-20 - 4 years ago
scoop85 osorojo At a glance it appears Cornell has played opponents close until late in the second period. Is this primarily because of Cornell's depth of talent or Cornell's style of play? With the exception of Yale, that seems to be the case. I think the depth advantage we have is a big factor. Reminds me of the Mankato NCAA game in 2003. Our top two lines didn't score much because Mankatoby French Rage - Hockey

ugarte Swampy It's bad enough that every year the we don't win the NC we have to spend the whole summer looking at the losing score from our last game of the season. But now we're in the front end of what could be a really special season. So why do we have to keep on looking at the fuckin score from that awful Providence game? I know we were incredibly beat up and showed great courage, but isnby French Rage - Hockey

I don't care for Lynah having bathrooms. Back in the days of Beebe Lake we just went in the woods. Now kids have to have fancy urinals with fancy corporate urinal cakes in them.by French Rage - Hockey

In the conference so he's already quite familiar, and he comes on the heels of a legendary coach failing to fix a shitshow which suggests there is NOTHING but upside. scoop85 Scersk '97 Well, if we end up playing the Mavericks, our defensemen are really going to have to watch their zone exits. Well, neither Cornell nor Northeastern will need to worry about that, as Providence has scored 6 unanswered (including an empty net) It helps to be the #4 seed home team!by French Rage - Hockey

Re: ECAC QF Game 2: Union vs. Cornell - 5 years ago
Trotsky TimV We have a home ice disadvantage. All thse teams that play in front of no one at home get fired up by our crowd. If we don't draw as well, those teams are STILL playing in front of a larger than usual crowd and our guys aren't. It's always a treat to read the Harvard players' quotes in the Crimson about "it's such a rush to play in front of a loud, engaged crowd." I'll taby French Rage - Hockey

sah67 Beeeej Yes, Jerry Falwell's university has an ACHA Div. I club team, and they're streaming tonight. Re: 2019 Achievements (Team and Individual) - 5 years ago
Trotsky French Rage Trotsky Cornell has a shot at finishing with the best offense in the ECAC if we outscore Harvard by at least 13 this weekend. We have been best offense 1 time in the last 41 seasons. Is that based on goals? How did we not win in 2003 if we won in 2002?Harvard and Yale both outscored the 2003 team. We allowed about half the goals of Harvard, and a third of Yale's. Yeahby French Rage - Hockey
