Re: MLax: Yale 7 Cornell 7 (OT) - 16 years ago
I think we have only won three or so. Yale has been dominating. Seibald just won the faceoff in overtime, but the Yale keeper got a stop off the fast break.by mnagowski - Other Sports

Al DeFlorioAnother poor shot choice--by Romero. Agreed. He didn't really have a good look, he just tried to collapse on the net.by mnagowski - Other Sports

DeltaOne81metaezraEr... 4-2. Why the hell is Glynn playing with an illegal crosse? Doubt he knew it. Pocket was just a bit too tight. Is it possible for the cold to affect the performance of the webbing?by mnagowski - Other Sports

Re: Season Post-Mortem - 16 years ago
sah67metaezrasah67I liked most of your points, but I really don't remember Seminoff taking many stupid penalties at all. Fair enough. Perhaps his slashing penalty late in today's game distorted my view. But to HockeyMan's point, Schafer really needs to instill some more discipline into this team. Or they need to find it within themselves. Just to be precise, the slashing penalty was on M. Kenby mnagowski - Hockey

Season Post-Mortem - 16 years ago
While fully realizing that there is a game against 'Gate tomorrow afternoon, it's probably time to start taking stock of the 2007-8 season for Cornell hockey. I'm certain that others here can and will certainly contribute more insightful and perceptive comments, but I might as well add my two cents. Top three strengths of the season 1) Ben Scrivens. Scrivens was a pleasant surprise for me tby mnagowski - Hockey
Re: Riley Nash ECAC ROTY - 16 years ago
beejjHere, here...Scrivens got ripped off! Sigh. For a bunch of well-educated fans, there really has been an egregious amount of sloppy grammar and spelling on this board recently. Okay. So maybe I'm just a bit annoyed because both the Big Red and the Sabres have reached the end of their seasons today.by mnagowski - Hockey
Re: Cornell Harvard (Semifinal) (End of 2nd period) - 16 years ago
RitaRemember, there were several times this season where we didn't think this team could win a playoff series, but they won two of them and gave Harvard a good fight. Agreed. The team that ended the season is a hell of a lot better than the team I saw against RIT and at Lynah East. And I also can't help but go back to the Capital Region road trip, where we really didn't have one good period ofby mnagowski - Hockey
Re: Cornell Harvard (Semifinal) (End of 2nd period) - 16 years ago
SperrisGame over, 3-1. Tough game to lose. The first and third goals felt a bit weak. Not to mention that second goal, which squirted past Scrivens because he wasn't set against the post. This was a very winnable game.by mnagowski - Hockey

Re: watch together on campus? - 16 years ago
cytmikeIs there a place for people on campus to watch together? ...like Cornell store or Statler or Johnson school? I can watch it at home, but it's more fun with more people! I would head down to the Commons. Try Benchwarmers.by mnagowski - Hockey

Is the only way to dissect a major team like this a Princeton offense? It would have been nice to see a couple of more threes go down in the first half...by mnagowski - Other Sports
