Chris '03 Beeeej billhoward LetsGoTech16 Iv'e heard Cornell vs BC at Lynah on October 18th. Not sure if there is a home/home with that. Most schools with reputations (and worries about losing to Cornell at Lynah) would not sign on for a one-timer in Ithaca. They'd want a home-and-home. ER stereax upprdeck So if rooms were $150 a night people would be fine with the cost but $300 is too much? I get a 7 day vacation it adding up but to quibble about $150 for 2 day thing? Staying in Toledo was about $250 for the hockey NCAA. $300 per night for 2 nights is basically the rest of my current bank account, lmfao.... I personally don’t think it’s worth it to travel to NYC thanksgivby Beeeej - Hockey

adamw chimpfood Look no farther than this year’s national champ, western Michigan, for evidence that a platoon can work until they decide it doesn't. Slukynsky started the last 10 games of the year. Something 2001-02 Cornell notably did not eventually do with LeNeveu. Actually went the other way, I think. Schafer platooned Underhill and LeNeveu right up until the end of the regular season. Beeeej BearLover —it’s massive. 14 incoming recruits must be the largest in the history of Cornell hockey. The staff and leaders are going to have their work cut out for them getting everyone up to speed on the culture and expectations. Adding to the difficulty is that there is a new head coach, a new assistant coach, and very few seniors. IIRC, the incoming group in 1992-93 was also 14. Theiby Beeeej - Hockey

chimpfood I dont expect Omaha to be good next year but it’s a fun opponent that I can’t remember ever seeing at lynah, so I’m fine with it. We opened with two at Lynah against UNO in 2014-15, a 1-1 tie and a 1-2 loss. Their visit was a return favor for our trip to Omaha to open the season in 2013-14 (5-3 and 4-3 wins for the good guys). sah67 Beeeej Not that Morgan did a ton to acquit himself later in the game Even though he wasn't superb in the faceoff dot tonight, I saw several strong shifts from him in both OT periods, and Arniel must have a lot of faith in his play as he was 5th among Winnipeg forwards in ice time with 26:42. With the Avs' unfortunate third-period collapse, penultimate Cornellian Stanley Cup hopeful Sam Malinski makes his exit from the playoffs. (At least his early penalty only resulted in a SHG for Colorado.) That leaves only Morgan Barron, with the Jets' own game seven against the Blues tomorrow night.
