Re: F*CK USCHO - 22 years ago
I am by no means old or gray, but agree. A great man once said, "Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terrors, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival." This may be overdramatic, but it holds true. No one cares if you finish in second place. I hope our boys play like we know they can. If they do, we should have no worries. The ifby Adam 04 - Hockey

Re: Clarkson fight clip @ eLynah - 22 years ago
I have a few things to add to Ben's comments. I have had too much experience in this area, and coming form the king of cheap hits, crosschecking gets called because it is so obvious; butt-ending usually never gets called because it is either behind the play, or in a scrum for a ground ball. Usually butt-ending is called as unsportsman like conduct, because it carries a heavier penalty. In my expeby Adam 04 - Hockey

Number 8, Chris Bahen, should have also been DQ'd. It is obvious if you watch the clip close enough. He dropped his stick, hit Palahicky with a hard right, then bent over and picked up his stick.by Adam 04 - Hockey

Rich S, I enjoy your contributions to this forum. You seem to be deeply endowed with hockey knowledge, and positively contribute to many discussions, but this thread is not a good example. Don't you have anything better to do? You should leave well enough alone, and stop provoking everyone on this forum. You are whining. By definition, whining is, " to complain in a childish way - n "by Adam 04 - Hockey
Re: Promotion of this site - 22 years ago
I think Justin has a good point. Most students who are CU hockey fans go to the games. They don't have the benefit of listening to Grady. I think an alternate form of advertising could inform more students about CU hockey history, and game etiquette. Our fans would become more enlightened. This would result in a better overall crowd. However, this does not excuse their ignorance of the site. If tby Adam 04 - Hockey

I’m working, but my Orgo book just doesn’t want to open. Kinda funny, my Biochem book won’t open either! How am I supposed to do work if my books don’t feel like opening? I’ll try to tickle them.by Adam 04 - Hockey

Re: Saluting the crowd - 22 years ago
It was very well written!!! But now comes the provisional part. True fans get up not just for the big rival, but for all games. Princeton and Yale, the two teams that skate into Lynah this weekend, should feel close to the same wrath as did the Crimson. Without the fish or foul language, of course. Yes, even a dead Cornell hockey crowd is the most rabid sports crowd one will find in Ithaca.by Adam 04 - Hockey
