Re: NCAA GAME 1 - 22 years ago
AWW DAMN! no shut out would've liked to see Undy get a SO in the tourney, oh well. I'd settle for a 6-1 winby Sarli - Hockey
Re: NCAA GAME 1 - 22 years ago
Sounds like Dougie lowerd the BOOM again Olson, the reciever, now looks like this: on the benchby Sarli - Hockey

Re: NCAA GAME 1 - 22 years ago
Grady just said that hasn't been much hitting, there hasn't really been a need for it. When is there ever NOT a need for hitting?by Sarli - Hockey
Re: NCAA GAME 1 - 22 years ago
Vesce PP Goal assists to Mark McRae and Bâby GUYS GUYs, save some goals for UNH. PLEASE!by Sarli - Hockey
Re: NCAA GAME 1 - 22 years ago
I saw that hit live at LP. All I can say is it was the kind of hit that you make when pressing the BIG HIT button on EA NHL2002 and then you get a bunch of replays. Only difference being Murray's hit actually hurts (I would imagine)by Sarli - Hockey
Re: NCAA GAME 1 - 22 years ago
MURRAY from Vesce on the PP off the faceoff 3- nillby Sarli - Hockey
Re: Chatting during Hahvahd-Maine? - 22 years ago
I'm listening to you. I can't bring myself to listen to hu godforbid I try to root for them. But I do want to see them represent the ECAC well.by Sarli - Hockey
Re: Pack more than a t-shirt - 22 years ago
Especially since it's then: "Screw BU, BU too!!" too bad I won't be around to hear that one.by Sarli - Hockey
Re: No respect at all - 22 years ago
Or they could be so out of it that they think those are the only teams left. Doubtful they could all be that dumb, but the longer I live the more dumb people I meetby Sarli - Hockey
Re: NCAA Games on TV in Philly Area? - 22 years ago
Anybody around Philly know of anywhere that cares about College Hockey so I can watch the game? I did notice that Comcast played the ECAC final on Sun Afternoon. I highly doubt CSN will carry that over the Flyers Pens game.by Sarli - Hockey
Re: The actual GAME against Harvard - 22 years ago
I know someone (2 ppl) already said he gave us the figner and he did. And he prob thinks he's cool. But that's the kind of thing that gets pro athletes in trouble so if he has any brains he won't be doing it often. then again look where he goes to school. I would have to say (and i'm still hoarse ) that I was screaming for US to hit someone all game and only Hornby listened . The reffing wasby Sarli - Hockey
Re: 1st round: Quinnipiac - 22 years ago
Couple of points: 1) they tied us at home on 06jan2001...which was winter break so it was a very quiet Lynah. 2) last year we were not nearly the offensive "juggernaut" we are this year 3) after watching the hU-clarckson game I thought both teams looked bad and after how CU played on friday it seemed we had a really good chance to win. But look at the result. there is no reason the sameby Sarli - Hockey
Re: Milestones - 22 years ago
Well didn't clarkson win two games last week, also. So therefore haven't we been tied since last post-season?by Sarli - Hockey
Re: LP-Accommodations, etc. - 22 years ago
A couple of years ago I went. We didn't have anyproblems getting tickets. Getting a room on the other hand, not so easy. In fact I think we picked up tickets later in the week, say on Wed. (possibly). But then again we were a 4 seed and not expected to win, as we are now. As much as I'd like to see CU beat DC (ha! almost forgot they're not a University) to a pulp, I don't think I want to temptby Sarli - Hockey
Re: End-of-R.S. Stats - 22 years ago
I'm sure I'll get corrected if wrong but see if this is logical: CU has the best winning percentage in the weakest of the 4 major conferences: Do you penalize us for being in the easy conference? Do we get disrespected because no one else in our conference played well consistently? Do you see that all the teams are basically equall except CU and UVM, indicating we beat up on a bunch of mediocby Sarli - Hockey
LeNeveu ECAC Rookie of Week - 22 years ago
Anybody see that LeNeveu got ROW? Not that we needed to be told about his excellent job, especially with the emergency start, but good to see recognition. here's the release: "Improved on his nation-best goals against average in a pair of road wins. LeNeveu stopped 32 shots in Friday’s 2-1 win at Rensselaer, and 18 more in a 3-1 win at Union. LeNeveu lowered his GAA to 1.50, and finished tby Sarli - Hockey
Re: Championship gear - 22 years ago
'p' schools SUCK, I hate them as much as hahvahd. Maybe its just from Track, but regardless the 'p' schools really really suck they don't have fans that follow anything other than hoops with any regularity. end rantby Sarli - Hockey
Re: Jimmy Devellano, Friday March 1 - 22 years ago
and a painful one at that Hey, is anyone else surprised that USCHO thinks we'll sweep the weekend? Not that I don't have faith in our guys, but RPI and Union are fighting for playoff positioning and should be playing with a greater sense of urgency (or is that just another of those bogus media buzzwords?). CU is playing to increase PWR, no that's something that gets me real fired up to beat dby Sarli - Hockey
Re: Retired Numbers - 22 years ago
I didn't notice clarkson, but st lawrence did not go by number. I remember commenting on it friday.by Sarli - Hockey
Re: Retired Numbers - 22 years ago
Cornell has lined up by numbers for as long as I can remember. but then again I graduated last year so I only go back to 97by Sarli - Hockey
Re: cornell's olympic showing (pat-pat) - 22 years ago
I thought I saw something written on a Cornell site about Joe that had a number after his name. But I believe it was like '03 or something in the future. So maybe he's 1 or 2 classes away. I had heard that he lives up on the lake over the summers and takes a class each summer. I'm too lazy to do a real search for the article, and the quick one I did on the CU site was basically useless.by Sarli - Hockey
Re: YUCK...WE LOST - 22 years ago
No we (most of us anyway) went to Cornell. They do not teach us to share there. They assume falsely that we learned to share and accept defeat elsewhere. I have yet to learn. The only good I see is that this loss may refocus our guys for the playoff run. I would rather a loss today then in placid. I think anyone will trade a loss at this point for a championship bannerby Sarli - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ Dartmouth, Feb 15 *game updates* - 22 years ago
MY GOSH, Is one (1) goal too much to ask? Can I just mention how hard it is to watch Olympic hockey and simultaneously try to listen to CU hockey? especially with a happy hour mixed in! still nill-nillby Sarli - Hockey
Re: Question about Chris Higgins - 22 years ago
There must of been a ceasefire in New Haven on that dayby Sarli - Hockey
Re: 2/11/02 - 22 years ago
How much do you think the losses over the break in tourney in Florida hurt us in the polls at this point? No. Michigan and Ohio St were slightly behind us then and are now falling further behind. Considering No Michigan was in double OT I figure that game is largely ignored. But seeing as these are the only non conference tests, do the voters hold that against us? And we do they keep trying toby Sarli - Hockey
