so big red apple are you saying that you CAN NOT have your cake and eat it too? All things being equal (unlike the olympic judges for skating) i'd go B. one misstep, like losing a close ECAC championship game (wait ) we have done that recently, this is not fair. Call me spoiled but i still want both Placid and a good run in NCAA. The team has worked very hard (and for the most part consistently)by Brunke - Hockey

somehow i posted this under "venting" dont know how i did that. why limit yourself to only two options? C) Win Ivy Title, Cleary Cup, Placid and make it to the Frozen Four? Being a little GREEDY is a GOOD THING. What does this get us? Its simple, we know other schools will say "easy AC", so dominate the regular season (ivy and cleary) play well against better competition (yby Brunke - Hockey

Re: Cornell vs Yale (Saturday) - 22 years ago
YESSSSSSS. EIGHT IN A ROW! Paolini. Hornby was a monster tonight, crushing solid legal hits, was huge since sounded like team was asleep most of the game. how long since 8 in a row? or is this a new record?by Brunke - Hockey
Ivy Title - 22 years ago
So with Cornell's win last night and Dartmouth's loss we now have a 2 point lead for the ivy title (right?, according to ivyleaguesports.com) so if we win tonight does that give us the outright title even without having played the Big Green up in their house?by Brunke - Hockey
Re: Jean-Marc Pelletier vs. Jason Elliot - 22 years ago
On a side note, there is a Pelletier skating for Canada in pairs skating at salt lake, think its a relative? I know that I will be rooting for Sarah Hughes to win gold, COrnell connections all around?by Brunke - Hockey

Full ride scholarship to play hockey at Cornell? Did I miss a change in Ivy League policy? Regardless, this kid sounds as solid, dedicated and more mature then a lot of the people bickering back and forth here on the forum lately. Maybe we should all take a lesson from him.
