ugarte Swampy ugarte Trotsky Icebergallow grad student athletes What is the given rationale for this Ivy rule, BTW? I mean, I get that everything we do is to polish the snobbery discriminator that makes idiots in Mineola pay 5x the tuition for an undergrad business degree they could get at SUNY, but why do we shoot ourselves in the dick on graduate students of all people? Swampy stereax The Rancor Snowball arugula Surprised no team has taken a flyer on Ondrej. Someone's going to pick him up, there has been a lot of interest in him. He might be more interested in European leagues, considering the state of our country and it's immigration policy. He's likely on a student visa. Who knows what hoops he has to jump through (especially at 6'6"!!) I forgot the sby Jeff Hopkins '82 - Hockey

Swampy Jeff Hopkins '82 VIEWfromK arugula Bancroft to the Bs. In this article it says that Bancroft helped “Cornell to its most successful three year run in program history”. There weren’t any further details so can anyone think of an angle to which these past three years could be considered the best three year stretch in program history? Recency bias? Of course! David Harding My apologies. This isn't Cornell or hockey, but I couldn't find another thread on The Portal in general. There's a graphic that shows where the starting five of each sweet sixteen team played as a freshman. It's dramatic. Dramatic indeed.by Jeff Hopkins '82 - Hockey

toddlose arugula Thought hoops was the same night. Too lazy to check. Hoops was night before. Went to Syracuse for the game. Then drove to Albany to watch the hockey the next night. I did the same thing. Unfortunately, I also drove home Saturday.by Jeff Hopkins '82 - Hockey

ugarte BearLover ugarte BearLoverAt the end of the day though, my argument was more an emotional one (not wanting to see the team that thumped us ten times in a row, with me watching in person, win a national title before we did) rather than a logical one.*whispers* Penn State playing Connecticut for a spot in the Frozen Four stings We would have had a very winnable game in the frozen four had weby Jeff Hopkins '82 - Hockey

Scersk '97 Weder It looks like Clarkson has played Big Ten schools a bunch in recent year, both in Potsdam and away. If Casey could get them to play in Potsdam, you'd figure he could get them to Ithaca. I don't know: OGS and MSS are quite the hubs! Ogdensburg has an airport? Who knew!by Jeff Hopkins '82 - Hockey

Dafatone scoop85 pjd8 Unbelievable. I’ve been watching sports for over 55 years. If that’s the rule, it’s as bad a rule as there is in sports, and the officials have to use common sense given the situation. Yup. What's funny is that when we got hit by this earlier this year, the announcers (road game. Princeton maybe?) talked about how they see this call every couple weeks, even though it wasby Jeff Hopkins '82 - Hockey
