chimpfood Unfortunately Barron has fallen to the bottom of the jets lineup after getting a good amount of playing time earlier in the playoffs. Probably due to him being -7 in the last 6 games. Not to mention Dallas kicking the shit out of Winnipeg in the past few games. Not exactly productive to use your 4th line when you're two goals behind.by Jeff Hopkins '82 - Hockey
Re: Nothing about the pope - 6 weeks ago
Trotsky Jeff Hopkins '82Am I right in assuming he's the first modern mixed-race pope? Of course, I have no idea who the popes were in the early church, hence the "modern". Race in the sense we mean it is a modern conceit. Amazingly, nobody gave a shit about skin color except as a curiosity, like eye color. They cared A LOT about where you born and what language you spoke, though.by Jeff Hopkins '82 - John Spencer Is Dead

dbilmes Harvard gave up five goals in a span of less than two minutes, and didn't help itself by taking several costly penalties late in the game. Not to mention they couldn't win a face off. That was a really ugly run of play.by Jeff Hopkins '82 - Other Sports

George64 djk26 George64 djk26 I'm in agreeance with this. (I like that word "agreeance"--it's archaic and hardly ever used--I first heard it on a TV show about 20 years ago when I think the person using it meant to say "agreement." Agreement or agreeance? stereax George64 Well, it was just a matter of time! According to the Cornell Daily Sun, Kotlikoff folds. “A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking real money,” channeling Everitt Dirksen. Please tell me you guys understand what satire is. So they switched the joke issue to 4/20. That works.by Jeff Hopkins '82 - John Spencer Is Dead
