[OT] Kornheiser talking about CU football/Knowles - 20 years ago
Just caught espnradio in the middle of Kornheiser saying some good things about Coach Knowles and Cornell. Part of it was talking about how Knowles chose CU over Harvard for college because the campus felt so right and how he felt it again when he visited to talk about the job. Anyway, it was about 12:15 in his 11-1 show. I think they usually have the whole show up later on espnradio.com, soby jhib - Hockey

Re: [OT] Yale 67 Cornell 48 final - 20 years ago
You're right, but we can dream, can't we? It's just that it's tough to count on wins against those "P's" so it always seems you have to win the other ones to have a chance.by jhib - Hockey

Re: Let's Go Red chant - 20 years ago
Gabe Heafitz '98 '04 wrote: As far as the original issue of this thread is concerned, I figured the answer was obvious, but I could be wrong. The plain and simple answer is that people try to start "Let's Go Red" WAY too often. There's a limit on the amount of energy you can tap for cheers, and when it's the same cheer over and over, people get tired of it. Imagine you just startedby jhib - Hockey

Now everybody rushes thru it so they start chanting "Sieve." I agree. These cheers just seem to work much better when they're slowed down a notch.
