Re: Harvard-Brown 'cast? - 22 years ago
Someone needs to tell these announcers to just call it as they see it... they are far too restrained.by Sperris - Hockey

The Brown announcers are funny... "I am gonna go on record here, I think that Harvard is a bunch of scumbags" -- Brown announcer on the dirty play of Harvard.by Sperris - Hockey
Re: COTY - 22 years ago
I'll find out the numbers for '96 but I don't think COTY would have gone to Cornell. According to the TBRW Schafer should have won it in '96, anyone remember why he didn't? J.P.by Sperris - Hockey

Re: COTY - 22 years ago
I think there is an agreement about the COTY award. The coach that has the greatest improvement from the Coaches' preseason poll position gets the award. Thus if you were predicted to finish first you could not possibly win (unless everyone finished exactly in the pre-season order, I'm sure someone here will work out the stats on that!). For this year the differential is: Cornell (3-by Sperris - Hockey
Re: RPI/Union - 22 years ago
In the third, 2-1. RPI on the PP and having good pressure. Now only 1:17 remaining. Empty net for RPI. 44 seconds left. PP over. 18 seconds left. 5 secs left. Dave makes a save with 2 secs left. Faceoff in Big Red Zone. Kozier on the draw. Over!by Sperris - Hockey

Suggestions for eLynah Forum - 22 years ago
Hey Age, Could you put the signatures in a different (more muted) color and italicize them? Sometimes the signature seems to be a part of the message. What about having the option for eLynah to remember your login for you? And one last one: How about a link to a page describing the mission of eLynah, administrative contacts, etc.? Thanks,by Sperris - Hockey
Re: Saluting the crowd - 22 years ago
I kinda remember that they would do it after each home win through the 95-96 season and it continued into the playoffs. I also remember them saluting after the NCAA loss that year as well in the corner before they got off the ice. I remember that they used to wait until every player on the other team was off the ice before they raised their sticks. J.P.by Sperris - Hockey
