Is there a reason for the increase in diving calls? I had never seen multiple diving calls in a game until last weekend, and now we had another tonight.They practically encourage it professionally, and it's usually pretty hard to call.by cuhockey93 - Hockey

A rare fast start for the Red. If only Ferlin would give a more consistent effort. The guy is unbelievably talented which isn't exactly something you can say about many players on this team.by cuhockey93 - Hockey

Trotsky BearLoverHow many times are we going to fall for the effort being the problem? At this point it has to be something else.Not sure what you are referring to. Talent? There are 7 NHL draft picks on the roster. Coaching ability? Schafer is the most successful active ECAC coach. Inflexibility? That seems to be the gist of a lot of the comments for the last few seasons. Maybe it is a gby cuhockey93 - Hockey

The issue is that most ECAC refs view McCarron as a goon. As captain you are not only a locker room guy, but also a representative of the team. McCarron arguing with the refs would be comical. Captains are also supposed to lead by example, not by leading the ECAC is game misconducts.by cuhockey93 - Hockey

I love the guy, but does he really have captain qualities? Pretty hard for a captain to talk to the refs when he's the one always in the box. Johnny Mac is in the top 10 in total penalty minutes and given Cornell's shorter season may be top 5 in Penalty minutes per game. I know this unheard of in the NHL, but maybe it's more common in college hockey. Do you know of anyone that has led their teamby cuhockey93 - Hockey
