Re: Douglas Murray played...Alumni in the Pros - March 2007 - 17 years ago
DougLAS played well according to the commentators on Fox Sports/Bay Area. He did get on the score sheet with that 5-min penalty for fighting. Don't mess with our Doug!! Yeah, according to the SF Chronicle, this was Doug's first game after being "scratched" for the previous 13.by CU at Stanford - Hockey
Re: Cornell at Harvard postgame - 17 years ago
From Section 19, Harvard's Goal No. 2 looked like a garbage goal. You might have had a better viewpoint, but from where I sat, that was what appeared. Laser was meant for Goal No. 1.by CU at Stanford - Hockey
Re: Cornell at Harvard postgame - 17 years ago
Wife and I made it back to SF after an enterprising United agent rebooking us on American BOS to SFO non-stop Sunday night. We got home just before midnight, without getting stuck at Logan or Denver's airport. I agree with much of this particular posting. I am surprised that few have pointed out how well Harvard played toward the end of Saturday's game. Their goal No. 2 came about after mucby CU at Stanford - Hockey

Re: Princeton at Cornell post-game thread - 17 years ago
Let's hope the Seniors will get an even more glorious send-off (into the Post-Season) at Lynah East a week from today, our "home" away from home. I will start the call....Rebecca and I will be there, as well as Joanna and Justin B. (fresh back from 2 1/2 years in Africa as Peace Corps volunteers), Kolo and his wife. And Toni M. will drive in from Western MA. LGR!by CU at Stanford - Hockey

Re: Alumni in the Pros -- January 2007 - 17 years ago
I was at the Sharks game on Thurs night. It was ugly...Sharks down 0-3 not even half way through the 1st, but then, something happened, and they scored 9 (yes, NINE) unanswered goals. Doug Murray (wearing No. 3) was a starter, but saw very limited action. I did not even spot him on that 9th-goal power play. I wore my Cornell jersey (with Doug's name and No. 6 on the back, along with his autby CU at Stanford - Hockey

Cool...thanks Beeej. I guess we are still trying to figure out how the "huggy" shirt came about.by CU at Stanford - Other Sports
OT: Barney wears a CU tee - 17 years ago
In last week's episode of "How I Met Your Mother," Barney, played by Neil Patrick Harris, was sick in bed and Robin (the newscaster) changed him into a gray tee-shirt with what looked like a hand-drawn Cornell Athletic logo (the bear wrapping his arms around a Big Red C). Anybody knows how this came about? I don't believe that any of the characters on the show has a supposed Cornell cby CU at Stanford - Other Sports

Re: Cornell-Hahvahd - Chicago??? - 17 years ago
I will be in Chicago (Hyde Park, specifically) next week. Though I have a work-related dinner and therefore will likely miss the broadcast, I do wonder if anyone is organizing a viewing gathering in Chicago?? LGR, Tom '87by CU at Stanford - Hockey
Re: HARVARD SUCKS - 17 years ago
