Re: ECACs Lake Placid roll call 2014 - 10 years ago
For those that bought through Cornell can you tell me what section you are in? Looks like I missed the window to have them mailed. Thanks. Also, I found this while looking for things to do with the kids. If anybody has other ideas please post them. I'm thinking that between skating, sledding, Olympic museum, Wild Center we should be pretty busy.by jts15 - Hockey

Re: Favorite Harvard Game Memory - 10 years ago
My favorite memory was in 96...I think. As we were harassing the Harvard players during warmups they started firing pucks into section B. My seat was in row 2 so I was able to duck safely below the glass. The refs saw what was going on pretty quickly and put an end to it before anyone got hurt. Of course the Faithful just got more rowdy now that we knew we were in their heads. When the fishby jts15 - Hockey

I believe I caught the one top center during the 96-97 season but I have misplaced it so I can't say with 100% certainty.by jts15 - Hockey

@jonasTSN1050: Gustavsson out tonight. Scrivens looks to be the starter with Rynnas backing up. @markhmasters: Ben Scrivens in the home net (usually reserved for that night's starter) as morning skate beginsby jts15 - Hockey

Seating @ Union - 12 years ago
I'm not very familiar with their rink and just wondering if someone can help me out with choosing seating for the road Union game. I have 2 little ones so I don't want to sit in front of the band or the home team's student section. Where are the Faithful usually located? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance. Edit: Upon further searching I found an archived page for the old College Hockeby jts15 - Hockey
Re: Women 2011-12 Main Thread - 12 years ago
marty In Troy up 3-0 going into the third. They locked down RPI in the second. Only 6 + goalie on the bench for .Cornell I met Jim Knowlton, the RPI AD, during the third period in Troy. He was impressed that the women were so strong with the short bench. He is a classy guy. I was impressed as well. We sat right behind the bench and you could see the ladies coming off the ice were gassedby jts15 - Hockey
Re: Does anybody know what became of Hudon? - 12 years ago
This is all I got from the Red Wings. "According to Mr. Nill, Phillipe's ill at present and can't play." I have no idea how to contact Phillipe but I wish him the best no matter what he chooses. Hope to see you in Ithaca.by jts15 - Hockey

Re: Recruits - 12 years ago
Phillipe Hudon: Right now, the best description I can give for Hudon is that he’s not as big in person as the big slab of beef he looks like and plays like on the ice. A very raw and very inconsistent power forward who isn’t sure whether he’s a crusher or a rusher or maybe both, but has time to figure it out. Fast, strong, always shoots from his “wrong” foot and is a little too used to roughing uby jts15 - Hockey
Re: Recruits - 12 years ago
From Georg malik at Wings prospect camp. There is an interview near the bottom of this link as well. Phillipe Hudon, forward: Again, not as strong as his fantastically muscled physique would indicate, very inconsistent, but his shot is superb, he skates hard and well and he loves to go to the front of the net and compete. Phillipe Hudon, forward: Gigantic and raw like steak tby jts15 - Hockey
Re: Recruits - 12 years ago
Hudon is at the Red Wings prospect camp. They haven't done much yet but Georg Malik had this to say. "Philippe Hudon: Frickin’ big and has four years of college eligibility to go." He doesn't say anything else about him but I'm hoping that as the week goes on we'll get more news as to how he's getting along out there.by jts15 - Hockey

Re: 2010 NCAA hockey regional ticket situation - 14 years ago
Maybe those sections are hard to get because those are the seats that are given to the CU ticket office. I just went with best available...I have faith in the Faithful that no matter where I sit it will be a Cornell section. Can't wait...let's rock this joint one more time!by jts15 - Hockey
