Re: Harvard Post-game -- a note about fish - 15 years ago
As happy as I was to not feel threatened by being patted down and having seemingly unnecessary bag checks... the total lack of fish detection/search kind of took the sport out of sneaking fish in. But as a senior I was ecstatic to finally have a second win over harvard at Lynah... hopefully we will have a repeat at Lynah East in February. LGR!!!by hockeychick470 - Hockey
Re: Very RUDE and Ignorant Fans! - 15 years ago
Just out of curiosity (this doesn't really impact the conversation/argument) is this the group of grad students that has brought the "poop is brown" papers for at least the past 2 season?by hockeychick470 - Hockey
Re: Very RUDE and Ignorant Fans! - 15 years ago
If they sold their seats back, they could probably buy game-by-game tickets in the student section where they WOULD be allowed to stand AND watch the game.by hockeychick470 - Hockey

I heard today from the drum major of the marching band that they have a trip this weekend so the pep-band won't be appearing in The Lineby hockeychick470 - Hockey

Re: Athletics Announces Hockey Line Procedure - 15 years ago
Thanks. I was surprised that they hadn't announced a specific game they would do the drawing during like they have the past few years... especially with homecoming this weekendby hockeychick470 - Hockey
Re: Athletics Announces Hockey Line Procedure - 15 years ago
Have they said exactly when/where the drawing will occur? I can't find it anywhere...by hockeychick470 - Hockey
Re: Proxies? - 15 years ago
They charge the bursar account for the person connected to the ID of the active line number once the tickets are picked up but you after that, you can do what you wish with them (in the past 2 seasons, my group of friends have taken IDs from friends who don't care about hockey and had 2 line numbers just incase the one connected to our IDs didn't get activated and in both seasons the other numberby hockeychick470 - Hockey

Re: C.U. In Albany!!!! a.k.a. Albany Roll Call - 16 years ago
Yeah they did. I initially told them the Cornell student section and they told me they didn't know where it was but if I knew where in the ring it was they could (and did) do it :D Also, I have a question (that I think I know the answer to but I just wanna make sure) what is the fish protocol for playoffs? Re: C.U. In Albany!!!! a.k.a. Albany Roll Call - 16 years ago
FYI... I called the CU ticket office today and they're out of student tickets. I then called the Union Times Center and they could not give me 4 tickets together in 117, 118, 119, or 120. I ended up with section 116 row A seats 1-4by hockeychick470 - Hockey

Re: The Athletic Department and Cornell Hockey - 16 years ago
The D/E rink guard last year who wore the red hat with the white pom thing on it was averaging kicking out about 4 people per game for language. He would come into the section and stand behind people and if he thought you were saying "asshole" or "fuck" he would kick you out. At one point I was chewing gum and he tried to kick me out. I knew one of the guys he kicked out andby hockeychick470 - Hockey

scrivens = sexy beast I know we're down, but the first goal was a fluke... just thought it needed to be said.by hockeychick470 - Hockey
thank you, Doug - 16 years ago
This is my 3rd season sitting on the D/E boarder. The cowbell is one of my favorite cheers, especially when I go stand in B or A with friends because it gets extremely garbled with clapping on the D/E end. This is the first time that I've seen anyone come to the D/E end to play the cowbell. Thanks, you made my night. LGRby hockeychick470 - Hockey

not really related to tonight, but looking toward next weekend, I'd just like to point out that BU pummeled vermont last night, but tonight they're down 5-3 at the middle of the third...by hockeychick470 - Hockey
