TimV Brown shuts out Colgate 5-0 in the "Friendship Tournament in Belfast Ireland. Announcers said the game was for ECAC points - don't know if that's right. Brown now gets winner of Mass-Lowell v Northeastern for another OOC game. That Lowell-NEastern game starts shortly on NESN.[/quot While I have always respected the hockey knowledge I have seen displayed on this site I must confeby SLU65 - Hockey

For those of you traveling to the N.C. I offer this in the expectation that it will make your homeward journey from SLU a little quicker: Appleton Arena is on Miner Street which runs north-south To avoid traffic, do not proceed north which takes you to Main St (Route 11), Canton. Proceed south on Miner (a real country road) to the tee intersection and take a right (Eddy- Pyrites Road - eveby SLU65 - Hockey

This is a VERY exciting SLU squad. Equal to, if not better than ,the Ron Mason led teams of the early 60's and even the teams of the late !980's. With the return of their #1 defensemen and goalie you should see an improvement in goals allowed . Pesony GA is high, in part, due to frosh defenders. Their freshman defenseman Generous is as good as it gets and freshman DeVirgilio makes moves thby SLU65 - Hockey

Always a pleasure reading posts from the most knowledgeable college hockey fans. Having ingratiated myself my question is: For many years, along with kindred spirits, I have visited Lynah to view the SLU game after having partaken of brews at The Chapter House followed by pizza at The Nines. For a change of pace can anyone recommend someplace to eat that would not overly inconvenience uby SLU65 - Hockey
