RichH bigredtrumpet Since no one else mentioned it, on Tuesday, David Leneveu played the second half and overtime to get the shootout (preseason) victory for the Columbus Blue Jackets against the Minnesota Wild. He also survived as the Blue Jackets cut down to 3 goaltenders. I was surprised to see his name pop up on the "bottom line" ticker on the NHL Network that night for gettingby bigredtrumpet - Hockey

RatushnyFanI thought the most interesting news yesterday was the Devils parting ways with Shanahan. I think that Lou would cut his own kid if he was on the borderline, it's not personal it's just business. It's probably a good decision but it had to be difficult to deliver the news. heard on WFAN this morning, that Shanahan was told by Lemaire that he wouldn't be within the top 9 forwards andby bigredtrumpet - Hockey

RichH (* Note: 7 of the 12 have to route through NYC traffic) Not necessarily - outside of the already mentioned train travel, you can avoid NYC by taking the Tappan Zee bridge to the Garden State Parkway and ride that all the way to Atlantic City... Went to the NJ Devils vs. Florida Panthers game tonite... was hoping to see Nieuwendyk in action but he was scratched... found out later he hurt his back in Wed nite's win over the Rangers... Final Score NJ 2 - FL 0by bigredtrumpet - Hockey
