From USCHO Recap: When asked about Harvard having scored 18 goals in its last two games, Cornell netminder McKee replied with a far steelier glare and tone. "They're playing us tomorrow."-- attaboy Dave! That's the confidence we're looking for!by aznxjz - Hockey

Re: Disappointment with faithful? - 18 years ago
Cheery for the SUCKS loss is also so that they dont' have any kind of momentum going into tonight's game. THough I had hoped for a tie, I'm by no means upset at the outcome. I agree that A/B were very bad last night. Whenever Ari started the LGR cheer, nobody followed...that was very frustrating. Let's hope we bring the A game tonight... Re: Lynah: Cornell 4 Colgate 1 Postgame - 18 years ago
Our intensity definitely met the challenge of a good (but overrated...) Colgate team. I felt that our guys were chasing every lose puck, and having some bounces go our way didn't hurt. Amazing 5 on 3 kill at the end 1st/start 2nd. Let's bring the same tommorrow to Starr, but I expect Colgate will make some adjustments and also have their home advantage. Too bad it's sold out or I'd be there. Lby aznxjz - Hockey
Re: Refereeing - 18 years ago
Jacob '06That interference call was somewhat reasonable. Sawada skated across the blue line and held one of their players up as Topher was bringing the puck in the zone. I agree with everyone that McDonald was pretty Inconsistent last night though. I don't know how we came out of that one scrum in front of the net with more penalties than Clarkson did. I was thinking whether or not they were goby aznxjz - Hockey

Re: Union 2 @ Cornell 1 (postgame thread 11/18/05) - 18 years ago
is it just me or did mckee look...well...depressed? I saw that when he was preparing the ice in front of the net in the third, he was doing it very slowly and spent most of the game sluggish. There didn't seem to be any fire in him, just trying to get by. And what was up with the Tuba tonight? I think that summed up the game, though I did laugh a lot....by aznxjz - Hockey
Re: Faithful T-shirts - 18 years ago
So i kinda lied...it'll be about $17/shirt I think. Let me know if you're serious, or if you now a cheaper place to order shirts from. email me @ js429 and I'll put an order out Jacobby aznxjz - Hockey
Another Shirt? - 18 years ago
I was thinking of T-shirt ideas and was wondering if anyone would be interested in one that looks like this: I think they'd be about $15 per shirt (the back says, in smaller font, CU Hockey 2005) A little pricey, just wondering if there was any interest at all.. email js429 at cornell dot eduby aznxjz - Hockey
Re: MSU 4, Cornell 3 post-game (game 2) thread - 18 years ago
Incredible comeback, but the red broke our hearts in the 2nd. Some of those calls by Feola were questionable though. There was a lot of blood on the ice when Pegoraro got hit. We have a bunch of chances the last 2 minutes or so, but just couldn't capitalize. 1-1 is not bad. I'll take it... There was one annoying "fan" in B that started shouting "you're not playing liby aznxjz - Hockey

Re: Cornell 4 MSU 2 post game-1 thread - 18 years ago
Lynah was a bit empty during the player intros, but we filled up pretty quickly. It was LOUD last night, and I hope it's the same tonight. Freshmen: Barlow, Mugford, Seminoff (didn't really see or notice the other freshmen) played fairly well, but as you know they committed a majority of our penalties. For their first game, I was certainly impressed. There was one play in the third (I thby aznxjz - Hockey
Re: Ticket Procedure Released - 18 years ago
question: does anyone know what section/rows the grad tickets are in? I am an undergrad turned grad and am considering grad tickets. Also, can grad students get undergrad tickets? (i want to be in B, of course)by aznxjz - Hockey

gimme an email at js429@cornell.edu. I'm leaving ithaca tomorrow at 5 PM (Thursday) heading towards the SUNY Albany area. I can't provide a ride back to ithaca though. I don't want either of them thinking they can score, and I don't want anybody from either team, especially Sucks, going into any kind of statistical record books. 4-3 in double OT.
