Re: Cornell 3 BU 3 (Final) - 14 years ago
I was sitting behind the goal. I thought I heard a whistle too (maybe the other ref?), with the ref waving his arms. I think that what Cornell was arguing afterward. However, if he blew, you would think they would reconcile that.by Lenny 01 - Hockey

CU Hockey Withdrawl- HELP - 19 years ago
I need some help. I'm living in Rochester now. I graduated 3 years ago, but have been able to get tickets from my girlfriend at Cornell. Now she is graduated. How will I see Cornell Hockey? Does anyone have suggestions for Cornell Hockey Withdrawl Syndrome? What is the availability of tickets for random games throughout the season? Thanks for any help you may be able to give to get mby Lenny 01 - Hockey
Re: Weekend Playoff Predictions - 21 years ago
Well if there aren't ties, then I just predict close games. But, I did think they were 3 point serieses. Maybe it's called a tie after 2 OTs?by Lenny 01 - Hockey
Weekend Playoff Predictions - 21 years ago
Ok Here's my shot at it: Brown beats a very poor Princeton in 2 Union beats RPI in 3 (Union playing very well, but RPI will be close to home and has done well against Union this year.) Vermont takes Clarkson in 3 (an upset due to Vermont's good power play and they have played Clarkson well this year) Colgate beats SLU in 3 (including at least one tied game. this one will be close, but Colgateby Lenny 01 - Hockey
Re: Bracketology article - 21 years ago
I think it's sucks that we end up playing Providence whose playing well in their home rink. But, we will see what happens anyway. Either way, to be the best we must be able to beat every team in the country. These guys can do it. lby Lenny 01 - Hockey
Re: Frozen Four - 21 years ago
I think someone mentioned this before, but what is the process for Cornell selling tickets? I almost positive they will sell some tickets to students. Anyone know how many? but, let's win the ECAC first...by Lenny 01 - Hockey
Re: New Polls - 21 years ago
OH, so close.... but maybe better to have less pressure on them?? I guess the poles don't really matter anyway. A #1 would have been nice, but I agree that it is an uncessary pressure on them. Speaking of rankings, did anyone hear Doug on the TV interview on Saturday night? He referred to the "Power Rankings". But, I would not stand up to him myself. Let him take care of playing hocby Lenny 01 - Hockey

Bypassing Paid Audio - 21 years ago
Can anyone think of a creative way to bypass the whole having to pay for the audio for tonight's game? Could someone in Ithaca put a mic up to the radio or patch it into the internet so we could all hear it? Would that work? Be legal? On the subject, does anyone else have problems with the REALONE player? It crashed my computer when I was running Windows Me, and it doesn't work on my computerby Lenny 01 - Hockey
Re: [not woofing] Albany plans - 21 years ago
On the Capcity Issue: Union Spring break Starts that weekend. So IF they get there, students could hang around. But I don't know how big their hockey fan base is there. Also, Lake Placid's Capacity is around 8,000. So the Pepsi's is about 1.5 times the size. I (unfortuneately) never got to Lake Placid. Did they sell out? Even if they did sell out there, I doubt a close to capacity crowd, esby Lenny 01 - Hockey
Hobey Voting - 21 years ago
Hey, Our players are slipping down in the Hobey Online Voting. I just wanted to remind everyone to vote everyday for Bâby, Murray, and Lenny. However, I'm not sure how much these votes matter, as I think the 10 semifinalists are voted on by coaches etc. Does anyone know how much the fan online voting really counts? It seems like it would not be fair to rely on the online voting because biby Lenny 01 - Hockey
Re: [not woofing] Albany plans - 21 years ago
Another Question on the Albany topic: Does anyone know how ticket sales will be? I will be away, but may be able to get there for/if/when the saturday night game. Should I be able to get tickets that day from the Arena? If not, I'll just have to watch on TV. Thanks, Lennyby Lenny 01 - Hockey
Re: Du Gamla Du Fria - 21 years ago
We could try the English version, although less authentic, it might not be as messy: Translation Thou Ancient, Thou Free You ancient, free and mountainous North, Of quiet, joyful beauty, I greet you, loveliest land on earth, Your sun, your sky, your green meadows. Your sun, your sky, your green meadows. You are throned on memories of olden days When the honour of your name spread over theby Lenny 01 - Hockey
