Re: Any Questions for Schafer? - 7 years ago
nshapiro KeithK Was there any Q&A or was it just him speaking to the assembled 86'ers? Given the setting I kind of assumed it would be the latter. There was plenty of Q&A. Remember, this was not just a random group of Cornellians, these were his classmates. Duanne Moeser was also there, and the funniest comment by the classmate introducing Schafer was something like - If Schafer didn'by jek86 - Hockey

sah67 MattS Trotsky andyw2100 Omaha definitely had their chances, but the one goal they did score was kind of a flukey goal. One of our guys (I don't recall who) fanned on a shot from near the blue line resulting in a 2 on 1 the other way. Jacob MacDonald. He had an up and down game, to put it mildly. He helped set up our goal, then his whiff set up the UNO goal, and then he had a brutal turnby jek86 - Hockey

It looked like Bardreau was hurting pretty bad near the end of the game. Did anyone else notice and does anybody have information on that?by jek86 - Hockey
Re: Princeton Roll Call - 11 years ago
css228 jek86 in listening again Schafer specifically refers to "a couple of UPPERCLASSMEN" who came out not ready to play in the first period and were then benched for the 2nd and 3rd. He then threatened it will be the last time they wear a Cornell uniform if they come out to play like that again. Naturally I'm curious who he is referring to. Anybody notice who sat and is now skatingby jek86 - Hockey

Re: Princeton Roll Call - 11 years ago
interesting interview with Schafer: schafer interview He mentions Mowrey's injury and how it hurt them for Yale.. Not optimistic for Princeton series. Was very angry with some of the seniors' play in the first period at Yale. anybody notice anything?by jek86 - Hockey
Re: Cornell at Yale 2013 - 11 years ago
anybody know why Mowrey didn't play last night? I thought he was a significant absence as one of the faster guys on the team. Without him and Bardreau in the line-up I was not surprised we couldn't keep up with Yale in the first period. Also I haven't seen Gotovets play in weeks...any word?by jek86 - Hockey
