Re: Red Hot Hockey - future of series - 10 years ago
andyw2100 I was at the game, but in the nosebleed seats. From where I sat, it sure looked like we scored to even the game on one of the second period powerplays. (I think it was the 5 on 3.) Can someone who had a better view explain what the deal was on that shot? I guess it's possible it hit the crossbar and I was so far up I couldn't hear it, but I really thought it was in and out of the net, aby gomestar - Hockey

Re: The End of Ivy Hockey Competitiveness? - 10 years ago
Kyle Rose The Ivies already give athletic scholarships: they're called financial aid, and they level the playing field when recruiting athletes not from wealthy families. That's probably enough, because there are surely more than enough good hockey players from poor and middle class families. I'd guess that this pool is very limited for hockey players. It's a really expensive sport to play bby gomestar - Hockey

Re: Ivy League Digital Network - 10 years ago
somebody, i forget who, mentioned on twitter that both UNO games will be broadcast on the Ivy sports network. I signed up for the league wide access for 4 months, and then I'll do a monthly pass for the final few games. The extra $15 for the league-wide seemed worth it to see (some) road games.by gomestar - Hockey
