In the AHL, there are currently 3 Cornellians on the same team. Riley Nash has been reassigned to the Charlotte Checkers and Brendon Nash is with the Checkers on loan from San Antonio. Justin Krueger is also in Charlotte.by abbottfan - Hockey

The goal went to Cody Bass. I watched the video back this morning, and it did look like Bass was the one who actually hit it in off Greening's wraparound.by abbottfan - Hockey

Rita jkahn Moulson scores is 31st, baseball style knocking a rebound in out of mid-air. And Greening gets interviewed between the 2nd and 3rd on the Panthers' broadcast. For the second time this season; Billy Lindsay (Panther color guy) did the interview him a few weeks ago when the Sens were in FL. Okay, now for the jinx... here's hoping Colin gets the hat trick tonight. I think we werby abbottfan - Hockey

Kyle Rose I don't see what is so bad about Albany. The first year it was there, the league went out of their way to make it feel like a festive atmosphere, blocking off the road in front of the Knick, bringing in street vendors, etc. I remember it was a great time! As the years went by, there was less and less of that, which to me says they weren't putting in enough effort. If the league wants toby abbottfan - Hockey

Ronald '09 Rita abbottfan Colin Greening just netted his 3rd NHL goal against the Carolina Hurricanes. The announcers said it was a garbage goal. I think it is more of a great job following the shot and getting the rebound. It was also a nice pass Colin made to Spezza. They don't ask how, they just ask how many. (That's not my original. Re: Cu - 0 Yale - 6 after two - 13 years ago
Remembering that this year was a rebuilding year that got off to a very slow start, a 4th place regular season finish and 2nd place in the ECAC tourney is not too bad. Some schools can't even do that in a good year. However, when we have a successful team like last year's, our expectations should be much higher. In addition to a good end result, we should expect more out-of-conference wins andby abbottfan - Hockey

To be fair, there are some slum-ish places in Albany as well. Its just a lot harder to find them there than it is in AC.by abbottfan - Hockey
Re: ECAC Playoffs - 13 years ago
There were some good things about Atlantic City (the weather), but overall it was much worse than Albany. One thing I always liked about Albany was that there were hockey fans everywhere. I definately stuck out walking through the casinos in my Cornell jersey. The game venue was a weird looking place for a hockey game, and we did not have a very large fan turnout. I was only there on Friday, aby abbottfan - Hockey
