BearLover When asked in the postgame interview what the message was coming out for the third, Walsh said that they “were just doing it for a lot of the guys leaving, especially the younger guys.” Huh? Coach Schafer appeared possessed for a moment and then told the team "if you lose this game, you'll take it to your fucking graves".by French Rage - Hockey
Re: What happened to PWR this year? - 6 months ago
Didn't the ECAC also do poorly OOC this year? That's going to hurt too. We did well in conference but we would have needed a much better conference record to breeze into the NCAAs with that going against us.by French Rage - Hockey
Re: What happened to PWR this year? - 6 months ago
RPI or PWR? We lose 14 comparisons, and are in 15th, so that's where the PWR would always have us.by French Rage - Hockey

JasonN95 jtwcornell91 I miss UVM, who would probably be 4.5 on that list. I sometimes wonder how things would have been for UVM if it stayed. It doesn’t seem like the jump to Hockey East worked out for the program. Uh-oh, Justin Milo's dad is gonna log on and give ya what fer!by French Rage - Hockey
Re: Lake Placid-2024 - 6 months ago
Beeeej Incidentally, this particular combination of four teams has never before been in the ECAC semis, Lake Placid or not. Q’s history in the conference may be relatively brief, but it’s also already twenty years. I was going to say that Dartmouth's fault for making it less frequently, but the most common 3-of-4 for this 4 appears to be DC/QU/SLU in 2007 and 2016, so it's on us.by French Rage - Hockey

Scersk '97 scoop85 JasonN95 Aren’t students returning this weekend? If yes, I’d wait for the next home weekend to evaluate the student section. In our day we’d be sure to come back Friday when break ended to attend both of the weekend games. It was a sacrifice of course to spend the weekend at school with no schoolwork to worry about, but that was before Cornell apparently became a place whereby French Rage - Hockey
Re: Empty seats at Lynah - 11 months ago
Everything went down hill once they gave out the "I did my time in the line" shirts. Getting the tickets wasn't supposed to be the accomplishment; showing up to every game afterwards was. Didn't the student council used to subsidize tickets? Do they still do that?by French Rage - Hockey

Chris '03 French Rage upprdeck I see they announced an arrest for the Cornell anti-jewish statements thing. Was a student apparently. Hopefully he (or maybe she? no, definitely a he) won't be for much longer.by French Rage - John Spencer Is Dead

scoop85 andyw2100 andyw2100 And the two service dogs. Don't forget the service dogs. Was anyone else worried for the dogs' welfare, being so close to the band? I googled it, and anything above 85 decibels can damage a dog's hearing. In Section M the band was regularly at 87- 89 decibels pregame, according to an app on my phone. I have to think in Section A they would be significantly louder.by French Rage - Hockey

BearLover This website, greekrank, is apparently a public forum that anyone can post on. Given the substance and form (bad grammar, dumb colloquialisms) of these posts, it seems most likely to me they were made by some idiot teenage troll somewhere. Very unlikely to be an actual Cornell student. That's my thought and hope (as much as wanting any outcome here can be a "hope" too. It juby French Rage - John Spencer Is Dead

4-1 win against the #11 team when they've already got 5 games under their belt and its our first is about as good a start as we can ask for, especially since the context of these games historically seems to give us trouble.by French Rage - Hockey

Trotsky Weder ugarte Chris H82 I live in Big Sky Conference land (Montana), so I've heard of Sacramento State. They are a good team. And Stanford is not supposed to be a good team this year, so it's not much of an upset. It is still a huge upset! "Bad for the Pac-12" should still blow the doors off of Sac State. Speaking of the Big Sky, gotta love that Portland State has both an 81-7 lby French Rage - Other Sports

George64 Redpucks1! I can't comment specifically about Cornell specifically. Heisenberg is not perfect, but significantly more accurate than other sources which I know about as to arrival year. Things are more unstable than they used to be because of the portal. According to Heisenberg, there’s always inherent uncertainty. . shafer Dafatone I just want to hear a few players sing the East Hill Car Wash jingle on whcu. Is that so wrong? THIS Yeah I mean ignoring the actual moral/financial/other-meaningful implications of NIL stuff, I would probably feel a lot different about it if it meant a LOT more college players involved in low-budget local commercials nationwide, rather than just a bunch of NIL collectives wheby French Rage - Hockey
