Re: 2/13/09: Cornell 4 Dartmouth 5 (Final) - 15 years ago
I had a pretty good angle and saw the goal bounce in and out. I was surprised to see the ref had waived it off. I think the team looked pretty good tonight and could have easily won. Sometimes the puck just doesn't bounce the way you want it to.by RedintheGreen - Hockey

Re: Dartmouth Pregame (Tshen, please start the game thread if you are available) - 16 years ago
I have to agree with a lot of lynah80's comments. I have watched Dartmouth for most of the season and they are a very inexperienced team. The Wyman, Johnson, Grecu line is probably one of the strongest in the ECAC, but that's basically where the positives of this team ends. The defense is young and constantly makes bonehead mistakes. They are always leaving Devine to stand on his head in ordeby RedintheGreen - Hockey
Re: Cornell 1 at Harvard 2 postgame - 16 years ago
Not about Harvard postgame, but didn't feel like starting a new thread. I saw the dartmouth v. colgate tonight. Dekanich kept 'gate in the game with 42 saves. Devine looked so-so...nothing spectacular from him. Both defenses were below average, but Dartmouth's offense was very fast and that led to more scoring chances for them. The ref (i think it was Dell) swallowed his whistle after the fby RedintheGreen - Hockey
Re: YES we have football. - 16 years ago
does the marching band not travel to dartmouth? I was disappointed when they weren't there. Dartmouth's band is pathetic.by RedintheGreen - Other Sports

I thought it was Swallow that was kicked off the team for academic problems (cheating), but Galiardi was just suspended.by RedintheGreen - Hockey
Re: Cornell at Dartmouth postgame - no energy on eLynah - 17 years ago
If it's any consolation the Dartmouth Hockey team are pretty much all in the same fraternity and it's quite possible that they all partied a little too hard last night. Hopefully they will be hungover and Colgate can take a win from them.by RedintheGreen - Hockey

Painful....just painful to watch. Two 5-3 PP's and nothing to show for them and the list goes on....by RedintheGreen - Hockey
Re: Eating @ Dartmouth - 17 years ago
WillRAlso good filling eats if you are after a diner is the Truck Stop in Lebanon. It's about 5-8 min south of town. I think it is open late. At the very least it is a great way to start off the day after a long night. Truck stop is good, GREASY, and fairly cheap compared to other things in Hanover. I prefer Gusanoz in Lebanon for Mexican food. It's a little cheaper than Margaritas and I tby RedintheGreen - Hockey
Re: Eating @ Dartmouth - 17 years ago
A few places to eat.... Murphy's on the green: Right on main street across from hanover inn...decent pub fare and $2 PBR's. Canoe Club: Further down main street. Pricey but usually good dining. The also have $2 PBR on tap. Molly's: At the intersection of Main and Lebanon Street. Better selection than Murphy's and $2 margaritas served all day. Ramunto's Pizza: They moved to a new locatby RedintheGreen - Hockey
