Iceberg toddlose Remember it was Quint who posited before the playoffs began that Cornell was not a team capable of a "deep run" in the playoffs. Fuck. That. Guy. Old Quint I'd probably seething on the inside from seeing Cornell at this point. I'm sure he's somewhere making as many ritual sacrifices as he can to avoid the worst to tomorrow I never thought he was blatantly anti-Coby jeff '84 - Other Sports

BearLover Does anyone have a sense for Cornell’s odds of making the NCAAs with a loss tonight? I presume we are 100% in with a win. According to this, 100%, but we’ve heard that before…by jeff '84 - Other Sports

mike1960 AP was looking to score. He needs to get it to the attack and move off the field. He's winning the clamps but seems to anxious after he gets it. We'll come back and make this a game, but this is a deep hole obviously. That hole is 7-2, Orange.by jeff '84 - Other Sports

Swampy Dafatone Well, Angello got like four minutes of ice time, which is not a great sign. FWIW, Barron got scarce minutes too when he’d been called up previously. But now, thanks partly to Covid, he’s getting a regular fourth-line shift. I think I’ve even seen him on the PP or PK. Certainly the Ranger announcers are giving him lots of props. He’s proving that he can handle the Show. If I’mby jeff '84 - Hockey

Trotsky upprdeckas it is we will be short several players this weekend.Oh? From Coach’s Happy Holidays Letter …I am sure that many of you had a similar holiday as our team. Some of you were able to be with family, a few were quarantined from family and friends, and many had a mixture of both. It is during these days we are reminded how important family is, as people rightfully gravitate towby jeff '84 - Hockey

Swampy jkahn Former Cornell football coach Jim Knowles is getting a lot of credit for Oklahoma State's good season. Is he just another in the long line of former Cornell coaches who underachieved in Ithaca but went on to do bigger and better things elsewhere? BMac Not a typo! It's really every other year as Red Hot Hockey, and on the intervening year it's called something else. Do you mean semi-annual vs. bi-annual? If so, I agree! It should be bi-annual! The “off” years are called the “Frozen Apple” IIRC.by jeff '84 - Hockey

Swampy scoop85 Analysis on Barron’s progress in Hartford Cool. Great to see the press being so generous. A crucial Rangers experiment is just getting started ....Promising to further complicate the picture, the Rangers also have four recalls remaining.
