Trotsky Winning is the best revenge. Ignore the little prick and put some rubber in the Dartmouth net. Agreed, however...something tells me this will not be the case.by releck97 - Hockey

Hopefully, the unfinished business with Eric Neiley will be swift and not result in any majors...by releck97 - Hockey

jek86 I haven't seen Bardreau on the ice. Apparently he did tweek something at the end of the game last week. Kneeā¦I heard him say that he'll be back soon. We can only hope.by releck97 - Hockey

It looks like the "ivyhockey2013" promo offered this weekend doesn't include Sunday. Rats!by releck97 - Hockey
Re: Cornell Hockey on TV 2012-13 - 11 years ago
My previous experience with Q broadcast is that they did not use NESN. Hopefully, that will be different tonight...by releck97 - Hockey

Aaron M. Griffin Jim Hyla Might as well get to the new season. As in the past, if you hear of something, let me know and I'll add it. I have to believe that TW, with strong ties to Albany, Syracuse and Rochester, will put on some games, maybe MSG. Men 11/16 Harvard @ CU 7:30 NBCSN 1/25 Yale @ CU 7:30 NBCSN Women Here's hoping. 1/4 Cornell at Denver 9:30 ROOT SPORTS I amby releck97 - Hockey

nyc94 How did the power play look? I see we were 1 for 7 and gave up a shorthanded goal. At Friday's luncheon, Schafer said they haven't spent a minute on the PP yet.by releck97 - Hockey
Re: Cornell - Ferris St. Pregame - 12 years ago
The difference here is that last night's penalty looked alot like most 2 minute penalties this year. My guess? Coach plays him.by releck97 - Hockey
Re: Cornell - Ferris St. Pregame - 12 years ago
RichH releck97 Is DeSwardt eligible for tonight? Yes. It was a Game Misconduct, not a Game Disqualification. A DQ gets you at least a game suspension. He can play tonight.Thanks. That is what I thought. What made me question myself was a statement on the chat last night by someone who was quite sure we would see Dias instead of Armand. IMHO, we need DeSwardt to have a chance tonight.by releck97 - Hockey

Greenberg '97 releck97 Miami was down 3-0. Now 3-3 with 10 minutes to go! Great game... Except the part about it pre-empting Cornell. Let's hope there's no OT..egadby releck97 - Hockey

Re: Harvard 6 Cornell 1 ECAC post-game - attendance - 12 years ago
css228 MattS kingpin248Another point to remember: the AHA does not hold a consolation game, so I'd bet that most of the 2,443 in Rochester were actually inside the BCA for the final. Another thing that hurt the AHA attendance was that the RIT women were playing for the NCAA DIII Championship at the exact same time at RIT as the AF - RIT game at the BCA. So I know that pulled from the attendancby releck97 - Hockey
Re: ECAC Finals Weekend not on TV - 12 years ago
adamw Beeeej adamw Nothwithstanding as someone else said - what does the location of the tournament have to do with TV (if anything, it improves the odds) .... Do you understand the decision to go to Atlantic City was not Steve Hagwell's? It was a 9-3 vote of athletic directors - the people that decide on any major decision, including Cornell's and everyone else's. Hagwell had nothing to do witby releck97 - Hockey
Re: ECAC Finals Weekend not on TV - 12 years ago
Thanks for the confirmation. Last I heard, it wouldn't be available online either. I'm glad this isn't the case. Here's the link to the internet broadcast info:by releck97 - Hockey

jtn27 releck97 css228 billhoward Three words that would prove ESPN cares about college hockey: Assign. Erin. Andrews. That or they could get INCH to publish more than one thing a dayI guess I miss the correlation with Erin Andrews here... Erin Andrews is ESPN's top sideline "reporter" (I use that term loosely). She only covers sports that ESPN cares about (so not college hockey). Iby releck97 - Hockey

Re: Not a goal? - 12 years ago
Neither did the vast majority of us in attendance! Yes, well the majority of us in attendance also didn't know it had gone in. Simply put, these kinds of games are the reason series records are disputed in media guides. Fair enough. BU still sucks!by releck97 - Hockey
Re: Not a goal? - 12 years ago
css228 Jim Hyla The simple fact is that the ref blew his whistle when the puck was on the goalies shoulder, a fraction of a sec. before it crossed the goal line. It was clear on the overhead replay. Edit: Slowposting on my iPhone. Maybe, but I didn't hear it.Neither did the vast majority of us in attendance!by releck97 - Hockey

marty OT Colgate is looking great in the OT. RPI seems to be running out of gas. They're going to need a break-out or major mistake by Toothpaste to win this one.by releck97 - Hockey
