Re: Multiple Player Articles On ECAC Website - 14 years ago
CowbellGuy cth95 Things are looking good when we have 4 alumni with articles on the ECAC website at the same time. I don't think I have ever seen this with any team. O'Byrne: Even if the title of that one does manage to get the idiom wrong, as usual. (Sorry, pet peeve.) You should just flaunt it. For all intensive purposes there are less problems we can hone in on. Lets move towardby fullofgas - Hockey

Jeff Hopkins '82Al DeFlorioACMMore bits about Bitz. He's just a "grinder." Keeps this up and he'll make it to "roll" player. If they trade him to Philly will he become a puck hoagie? And his linemate in Providence is Wacey Rabbit? Shouldn't that be Wacey Wabbit? I think you meant Wascally Wabbit.by fullofgas - Hockey
Re: Ithaca eating suggestions, pre-game? - 15 years ago
L-Jpman78I think Uncle Joes *is* the place i was thinking of..Thanks for this. Will also keep The Rose in mind if we need a place closer to the hotel... The food at Uncle Joe's is a dissapointing. If you are looking for lots of big TV's and a sports theme, Benchwarmers on the Commons has a larger menu and at least marginally better fare. Right, the food is marginal at both Uncle Joe's and Benby fullofgas - Hockey

The Plantation on rte. 366 has great bar food and is just up the road from Lynah. Strongly recommended. And don't forget to do a couple of shots for good luck!by fullofgas - Hockey

WillTrotskyugarteJeff Hopkins '82ugartesah67Beeeejsah67TrotskyThey had lost to Denver last weekend. Yeah...I'm an idiot. I even knew that. Mods can delete my embarassment if they so desire. Nah, it's more fun this way. Jerk. This is an inappropriate use of the jerk tag. As the next post in this thread is likely to be. Nice try. Jerk Typical. PM me if you want to know how the jokby fullofgas - Hockey
Re: Cornell 5, Quinnipiac 3 (postgame) - 16 years ago
CollegeHockeyAddictI would like to thank the cow bell guy (sorry I didn't catch your user name it was loud when you told me) and the rest of the Cornell fans for making me feel welcomed even though I am a Gopher fan. Getting the chance to experience Lynah from section B was fantastic. I will be visiting quite a few other rinks/arneas out east this fall but it is going to be tough for them to topby fullofgas - Hockey

For the people at the game... it seem like Devin was taking a lot of shots from the point... were most of them getting through and to the net? LGR! Devin has a pretty heavy shot. It will be really nice to see how good he is in four years. The brothers Devin and Kennedy played hard. Nash has some great potential. If he hangs around we have a bright future.by fullofgas - Hockey

Ottawa game time start - 16 years ago
Anyone know the official start time for the game on sunday October 21st? The schedule says 7 and the ticket says 4.by fullofgas - Hockey
Re: Ticket Procedure Posted - 16 years ago
Get to Lynah before 6 PM and stand outside the doors for the box office. You can almost definitely find someone selling tickets there for face value. You should also try the box office because sometimes there will be tickets available. I have a friend who comes up for games often and has never not gotten in. Good luck and enjoy one of the best sports experiences known to man!by fullofgas - Hockey

Cheering synchronicity aside, I'd wish for players staying four years (at least) and allowing our boys to become the fully realized team that they can be!by fullofgas - Hockey

Al DeFlorioBeeeejIf you think Schafer's probable off-ice efforts to reign in Romano's selfish and/or undisciplined play were ineffective, tell us what you would've done instead. Uh-oh. Beeeej blows one at last. I think his head just exploded!by fullofgas - Hockey
Re: A few musings from a new member... - 17 years ago
Beeeejlurkeringnot to have rubbed any posters the wrong way. I apologize ahead of time, as I am sure I still managed to do just that. Other than using some big words that don't mean what you think they mean, not at all. Your insight is welcome here. Dude, do you have to be a pompous asshole everytime you post? Re: Senior letdown - 17 years ago
from bill howard:Look at President Bush and the last couple months: If you don't like the job he's been doing, you could believe he's just not performing, or you could conclude he and Laura are privately running a glaucoma-abatement smoke-a-thon. Just a thought ... If only that were true we'd all be much better off. I don't think a Rasta would be sending his kids to die for nefarious reasons.by fullofgas - Hockey

Re: Joe Nieuwendyk Retires - 17 years ago
French RageRich SYou have to love the Joe S. reference. But I believe it's "Shlobotnick" and I have an old Peanuts button to prove it. Wikipedia disagrees: and of course we all know Wikipedia is an unimpeachable source!!?!by fullofgas - Hockey

Re: Cornell 6 Union 0 postgame (12/2/06) - 17 years ago
RazzBaronZWe finally came out with energy for the first time since the Harvard game. I was happy with the hustle. Schafer must've said something because I haven't seen that energy in a while. We got to almost every puck first, and while Union might just be horrible, it was great to see some confidence and the willingness to push to get to the puck first. I thought Scrivens wasn't tested at allby fullofgas - Hockey
