To get your copy you have several options: If you want to be even more patient, you can wait until they appear at the Campus Store. The timetable for this is not yet set, I will post here when they are available at the store. If you are on campus, feel free to grab a copy from me. Re: The Swami speaks to his many Cornell fans... - 20 years ago
So if the RPI stayed the way it is now, we would be matched up at home against Ohio State? That seems to be the most geographically logical matchup between the second band and the third band.by Tub(a) - Hockey
[LAX] Cornell @ Princeton a.k.a. Schoellkopf Southeast - 20 years ago
This Saturday at 12pm in Princeton, NJ the Big Red take on the Tigers of PU. It's a big game for the Red, possibly determing whether they get a tourney seed or not. If you are in the Princeton area (or are willing to make the short 4 hour drive down) I strongly encourage you to come to the game. The Pep Band will be there and it would be great for the Red to have a large contingent of fans.by Tub(a) - Hockey

I actually like (I think) that it's not subjective in any way, and that it doesn't come down to the referee's discretion as to whether or not the goalie was interfered with... Would it be a bad thing to show fans of the other conferences that the national media believes (rightly or wrongly) that the player with the best performance in a season played in the ECAC? RichS Wrote: Even without Stevens, I think the Devils will take Philly. Brodeur gives them a HUGE edge over Esche and Burke. Philly has choked in the playoffs for the past several years. NJ has the experience and goaltending necessary to win the series. As for St. Louis, this can only be good for the ECAC. Well, at least until UVM moves to Hockey Eastby Tub(a) - Hockey

Re: Policing profanity - 20 years ago
"I think there is a misconception that intensity at basketball games is correlated with profanity," said senior David Krieger, who is involved in the effort. When did this perception start in Lynah, or was it always that way? It seems that today the most admired fans are the ones who swear or make lewd comments...by Tub(a) - Hockey

Re: [ot] bertuzzi jumps moore-> hospital - 20 years ago
The argument could be made that this wouldn't have happened had the NHL done something about Moore's hit on Naslund. Suspensions in the NHL are a joke... Rob Ray throws a stick on the ice and gets 7 games. Jeremy Roenick spits at the ref, swears at him all game, and throws a water bottle directly at the ref, and gets one game. Mats Sundin throws something into the stands and gets one game. Untilby Tub(a) - Hockey

gee, great point. maybe the ref saw Bitz being excessively rough instead of butt-ending. maybe there is a blurry line between excessive roughness and buttending, ya think? it really matters, doesnt it? there isn't a blurry line at all, in fact it's quite distinct. Yes the rink is desolate during women's hockey, and yes this is unfair to some degree. But, not only is the women's team not as talented as the men's team, but women's hockey in general is a more low-key less exciting sport. Add to that the fact that you're not allowed to taunt the other team (at least, the band was reprimanded for doing so) and you've got one boring venue. While women's hockeyby Tub(a) - Hockey
