This one brings in a little demon bear and removes hockey from the back.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Dream-Crushing, Soul-Devouring Juggernaut Shirts - 14 years ago
I'm trying to find an evil looking cartoonish bear to add to the back, making the C a little smaller and putting the demon bear between the Cornell Hockey and the quote.by munchkin - Hockey

There is a new thread just for the shirts. Check it out.by munchkin - Hockey
Dream-Crushing, Soul-Devouring Juggernaut Shirts - 14 years ago
So, it's clear we all really like the Dream-Crushing, Soul-Devouring Juggernaut aspect of the team. And we all like wearing Cornell gear. Brian Sullivan has given us the ok to run with this as a shirt design provided we give him one. The design is linked below: make comments, edit it and post your version. I plan on wearing one of these shirts at the Frozen Four, and hope to see many others iby munchkin - Hockey

JasonN95 Beeeej Brian Sullivan picks Union over Cornell in the title game. I loved his explanation for his pick of Cornell over Brown in the semis: I really, really like Brown. The Bears play with heart, they play all-out hockey, and I really hope that they're teaching opponents a thing or two about desire along the way. That said, in the interests of picking with my mind and not my heart, Iby munchkin - Hockey

Re: Albany Roll Call - 14 years ago
Killer munchkin judy Last minute change of plans? I work at a pool, and since the flooding in Boston damaged some of the plumbing in the basement it's closed through until Monday meaning I don't have to be there Friday and Saturday as was scheduled. That's one of those signs that would definitely have people scratching their heads: "Pool closed due to flooding" The flooding itselby munchkin - Hockey

Re: USCHO Picks Union - 14 years ago
Does anyone have words for Brian that they want personally conveyed? He and I have the 3 hour ride to Albany tomorrow to discuss why he should have chosen Cornell over Union in the championship game.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Albany Roll Call - 14 years ago
I'll be coming, and giving Brian Sullivan crap the entire car ride to Albany for picking Union to win it on Saturday.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: ECAC Game Viewings - 14 years ago
Boston is at the Sports Depot in Allston at the corner of Harvard Ave and Cambridge St. We'll be watching bouncy ball starting at 12:30 then switching to Hockey at 4. The is the official CCoB event.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Lowe's Senior CLASS Award-Greening - 14 years ago
We need to step up the game, down to 29.3%.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Albany (ECAC) info - 14 years ago
I stayed at the hotel in question for a conference. Rooms are quite nice, and you can pick up free wireless that wafts over from the Albany Medical Center if your room is on the close side of the hotel.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Letter from MetaEzra - 14 years ago
I would agree that the '06-07 season was the beginning of the crackdown. For my first Sucks game, freshman year, during the '05-'06 season, I and several others made shirts that said, HARVARD SUCKS on the front and LET'S GO RED on the back. My rink guard for section B gave me a big thumbs up for the shirt that year. The next year, I wore the same shirt and in Section A was told to turn it insby munchkin - Hockey

Re: CU's 2010-2011 Schedule - 14 years ago
ajh258 I've been told by the ticket office that there will be no MSG BU event next year. I'm sure there are non-conference teams like US under 18 or Niagra coming around somewhere early or mid season next year as well. The BU game will happen again at Thanksgiving 2011. It's an every other year thing according to Schafer, although MSG wants Cornell to come every year alternating BU withby munchkin - Hockey

RichH Very strange...I just noticed that there's a Bully Hill Vineyards ad on the boards near the red line. I noticed that when I was there for the Caps/Bruins game last week; I was surprised by it.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Cornell at Princeton. Any info? - 14 years ago
Trotsky judy There's talk of the "snowpocalypse part 2" for this weekend in the DC area. I think if that's the case, it may be just me unless my +2 are not wimps and are willing to brave the storm. We had 6 inches last night and everybody got to work. They're learning. That's questionable since MCPS (Montgomery County) had a snow day today.by munchkin - Hockey

Robb So, does anybody know if we can watch the suckitude online? If you live in the Northeast, it's on NESN.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Review of Lynah Rink - 14 years ago
Since the seating at Ford Field will only be in one end zone, it shouldn't be as bad as Fenway was (I was there along the 3rd base line). Ford Field also won't have the beams and the odd shape to contend with for rink placement.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: North Dakota Postgame 1/23 - 14 years ago
Larry72 Are there any other rink announcers out there in the same vein? The BU announcer is similar and has probably been around just as long as Arthur.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Review of Lynah Rink - 14 years ago
CowbellGuy If you could somehow warp space to fit the same number of people in the existing space, but providing a human-sized allocation for each seat, I'd be happier with that. Maybe this is Cornell's way of encouraging fans to keep to their diets so as not to overspill their numbered area on the benches.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Alumni in the pros - January 2010 - 14 years ago
Sawada's line just scored. When the announcers were talking about him one piped up with, "Go Big Red!"by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Cornell 5 at UNH 2 (postgame) - 14 years ago
Even though the shot totals for Cornell were really high, the one thing that's still seems to be lacking (at least to me) is the rebounding. Other than the great possession in the 3rd, a lot of rebounds weren't kept in control.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Facebook event for Rochester viewing - 14 years ago
I was at the BU game at Agganis and you are correct, there were not any TV time outs during the game which was nice to keep the flow going, even if there were quite a few penalties.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Washington DC - 14 years ago
I can elaborate. That's a facebook invite for the Penn Tavern viewing in DC.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: UNH Tickets (and Roll Call) - 14 years ago
I'll be there. The Cornell Club of Boston sold tickets through the club, and it was advertised through the newsletter and e-mails.by munchkin - Hockey
Re: Cornell Game Jerseys - 14 years ago
Sorry, no recollection of meeting you at the banquet, but Mark introduced my friends and me to quite a few people that evening. In my view, I have a #26 and for me that'll always be a Topher jersey whether he wore it or not. I don't have anyone else to associate that number to since none of the freshman had it my senior year.by munchkin - Hockey
