Need more hockey? FREE games TONIGHT!

Despite a full weekend of hockey at Lynah and in Torino, I want more. If you do, too, join me at Lynah Rink at 6pm for a Sirens vs Furies game... two local women's teams with lots of skill and energy. And there's another game at 9pm at The RINK on East Shore Drive in Lansing, the adult league's Cass team vs whoever they're playing; they're in their playoffs.

(EDIT Good news! Denise's teams won both games. The Sirens won 7-2 at Lynah, and the Cass Park team had a 1-0 OT victory against Ithaca Coffee Company at The RINK.

My friend Denise, who many of you have seen at games, is playing in both. (She's gonna be TIRED later, especially since the Sirens are a little short on skaters for the early game.)

Both games are, of course, free, and there's plenty of room at Lynah and The RINK for you. But bring your own refreshments. I'll assume everyone here knows how to get to Lynah, but to get to The RINK, take East Shore Drive up the side of the lake from the Stewart Park exit of Route 13. The RINK is on the right, and hard to miss, a little past Dempsey's. If you hit Rogue's Harbor at the intersection of 34 and 34B, you've gone too far. From the campus area, take Stewart Ave north until it becomes Cayuga Heights Road, crosses over Route 13, and curves around a bit. It ends at East Shore Drive, and you keep going straight (more or less).
