Yes, yes, they suck, I know, but there are those of us who love them. I'm guessing that among eLynah's vistors, there must be a decent number of fellow masochists.

But you're the only one willing to admit it.

Greg is not alone.

This has been a frustrating season, but that is a natural consequence of building a team around Alexei Yashin. I still have hope that the Islanders will make the playoffs. I am also looking forward to a Milbury-free future.

No, the Islanders won't make the playoffs. But, find happiness with the fact that the Rangers will!:-}

Until they start playing hockey in Uniondale this belongs in JSiD.

Will you be happy with a quick 1st round exit?

Yes. After the last 10 years or so, yes. And up until the last week or two, I had the same impression, but now that they're beating quality teams like Philly and Ottawa, I'm starting to think they might make some noise in the playoffs. If the key players avoid injury, why not? Either way, considering they were picked to finish last, I'm perfectly content with this season, no matter how it ends.

The Sabres and Rangers are eerily similar teams. Great rookie goalies with no playoff experience and nearly identical stats. I would be disappointed by a first round exit though, because the Sabres have started beating Ottawa and Philly too.

This is not the stupid Rangers thread. It is the stupid Islanders thread. Go start your own stupid Rangers thread called "Potvin Sucks" or something clever.
