Princeton 31-14 after three. Cornell suffers blocked FG, wide FG. Hagy long TD run called back on a hold. Next play, Shapiro open in end zone can't hold onto pas.
Princeton 38-21 halfway into the fourth. Looks like the impossible upset won't be possible.

Cornell had its ups and downs early on. Appears Cornell had to call a timeout because the punter wasn't ready.

Game is televised on Fox College Sports. Makes me feel less guilty about not driving up to see a game in rainy, 39-degree weather. Cornell TD wasn't fully shown. Fox had cut away to an Ivy League sports / TV coordinator going on about how awesome it was that 13 Ivy games will be on Fox or other regional / national TV. Thank goodness for replays.

And are we not coming up on the centennial of the last unbeaten, untied Big Red team? Much to do in the off-season.

No Bill, that was 1939. My father was on that team .

There was indeed an undefeated untied team in 1915, but there were others in 1921, 22, and 23 as well.

I listened to some of Columbia - Yale today and that crew is (1) talented and (2) all gallows humor because that team apparently really sucks. Fingers crossed I get to see a W when I bring the boy to his first Cornell event.
