I'm assuming we missed the extra point after the fourth touchdown?

The scores are typically a lot more reasonable, though the 7-innings for many games may have something to do with that.
It looks like an ERA in the low 4's gets you into the top ten among starters league-wide, so presumably pitching develops more slowly than hitting, or anyway good pitching takes its talents to places with 60-game seasons rather than 30.
Cornell actually looks like it does not suck this year. They have a good NC record and they are over .500 in an underwhelming division. I have no idea what the playoff structure is but IINM there is an Ivy slot in the hemi-semi-demi round of the NC$$ so, hey, a girl can dream.
Edit: There is an RPI for NCAA baseball because of course there is. We are 104th, baby! Beats hoops, I guess.
Edit edit: Oh holy fuck yeah it does. 269.

Three grand slams in the Towson game -- we had two of them. Trey Baur with 7 hits set a Cornell record for hits.
There are two divisions in Ivy baseball -- our division includes Princeton, Penn and Columbia. Teams play 4 games with teams in the division, 2 games with non-division Ivy opponents. Division winners playoff for the Ivy title in a 3 game series.
Last weekend, Cornell split with Harvard and Dartmouth. Yesterday Cornell took two from Columbia, 8-7 and 12-6. Cornell had 33 hits. Playing Columbia now in first game of a double header.

And metal bats are MUCH more forgiving.

Passed unnoticed but Cornell had three pitchers taken late in the MLB draft.

There's a #OneIvy hashtag? Good thing the Ivies didn't have that when they were accused of colluding on aid packages for athletes to allegedly keep the cost down.
