Q: What were the main factors in your decision?
A: Cornell is the complete package for me. It has a storied lacrosse program and offers an incredible education. I really liked how [Head] Coach Matt Kerwick made me feel at home right away.

Q: What other schools were you considering and what schools did you visit?
A: Brown and Notre Dame were in my top three. Over the past 45 days, my dad and I visited 11 different D-1 programs. Most were informal, which allowed me to see the cmapus and its culture on a normal day.

Q: Have you decided what academic major you plan to pursue?
A: Business - leaning toward Finance.
How many people have an idea of their major as of ninth grade?

His YouTube highlights reel lists him with a "4.0+ GPA - PreAP English, Geometry & Biology." One of only two freshmen to be Texas All-State.
