Wow already 21-7 at the half. Another trouncing of the Big Red in the making. I feel bad for Mathews in his final year.

What are they doing half-time. I've never seen a Big Red look so completely lost in the 2nd half of games.
Cornell fumbles on opening 2nd half kickoff, Brown defender catches it in mid-air and races 26 yards for a TD.
Bears up 28-7 with just 10 seconds gone in 2nd half.

What are they doing half-time?
Wishing they were lacrosse players?

Final was 42-35. Sounds like we had a great second half, anyway.

Matthews had a great day but at times holds onto the ball too long rather than throw it away. Too many penalties and turnovers.

Just saw a stat on SportsCenter that Penn State suffered its worst football loss since losing by 47 in 1939 to.... Cornell.

Penn State doesn't like losing by that much. They prefer it if you're a little behind.

Bunch of people left when Brown went up 28-7 one play into the third quarter. Too bad. The Cornell interception of Brown followed by the 81-yard TD pass on the next play to make it 35-28 with 10 minutes to play, would have been an all-time highlights reel sequence if Cornell had won (and if it was in a season that kept us on pace to challenge for the Ivy title). Matthews and the receivers were on a roll. And for the most part, he had enough time to throw. Had it not be been for that horrible fumble late in Q4 we may well have come back to tie. Or if we handn't fumbled away the second half kickoff and Brown turned it into a TD on that very play.Trotsky

Want to know why we struggle so much to be competitive in football? Take a look at the offers received by this kid, who just committed to Princeton (I know this because his older sister works in my firm). He turned down Stanford among others.
