Well we got our first upset that we would need to win this match at 133. I'm with the announcers although they won't say it outright: I wish the Cornell wrestlers wouldn't try to get off the mat when they get to the edge, they should try to work back to the middle and stay inbounds.

I don't understand why Mueller cut Meagher at the end of the match. It definitely cost ISU a point.
Grey was sloppy at the edge, and a little lucky to win because of it. Great SV shot for the win, though.

It would've been a great opportunity to use the "you can't count" cheer. Great effort by Meagher to avoid a final takedown though.ugarte

Leen killed Sanderson. Great followup to when he decked Sanderson at the All-Star meet. The backup that ISU sent in against Anceravage was a sacrificial lamb; he never had a chance and was tossed around like a ragdoll before getting deckd. Awesome match by Kerber; he is going to shoot up the rankings. Nickerson showed that he is going to be a force at 125 again this year, beating a wrestler that took down the defending champion in the first round of the tournament. Reader wrestled a great match; Lewnes may have gotten away with one there.
But the biggest kudos to Grey for finally wrestling up to his reputation, taking the match to Fanthorpe and pulling out a win. He was very sloppy at the edge of the mat. It cost him a takedown to tie the match and nearly cost him at least two other takedowns over the course of the match... but in the end he got a great shot on Fanthorpe in SV for a huge win.
Manson hung in well against a wrestler expected to win easily and Meagher wrestled a pretty poor match (and tired at the end) but, with a serious brain lock by the ISU coaching staff, was able to keep ISU from getting bonus points. Moore was simply overmatched.
I hope that Simaz is OK. His body language said to me that he took the MF because he tweaked his shoulder, he was likely to lose (especially with the injury). Since he is wrestling in the final against Iowa, I think they chose to take the MF because it didn't matter to the team score.

Since it appears CU might have a chance to dominate east coast wrestling for awhle I wonder if there would be a chance for us to get a big name program (Iowa, ISU, Nebraksa, etc) to come to Ithaca for a match. Is there such a thing as home-n-aways in college wrestling?

They also had Penn State here this season. I believe they've hosted Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Arizona State in the recent past. It seems their home schedule has improved in the past few years. Hopefully, there's more to come...
