Do you think Mr. Easterbrook understands the difference between making the NCAA basketball tournament as conference champ and making it with an at-large bid? The fact that the Ivy League auto-qualifier is a "smart school" should come as no surprise. Cornell winning a game or two in the tournament would have made a stronger case if it had happened.
