Softball doing well

THACA, N.Y.—The Big Red softball team split with Princeton on Friday afternoon in a battle for the Ivy South title. Cornell fell to the Tigers, 9-5, in game one at the Niemand-Robison Field, but bounced back to win game two, 5-2. The two teams remain tied for first place in the South division with 16-2 records, and will play a second doubleheader on Sunday at Princeton. Cornell holds a 38-8 overall record while, Princeton is 21-22.

Cornell will play at doubleheader at Princeton at 12:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon. If the two teams split on Sunday and remain tied in the Ivy South division, they will play again on Monday at 12:30 p.m. in a winner-takes-all game at Princeton.
