Simplified directions from NYC (MS Streets & Trips): Go east on I-495 / Northern State Pkwy > 347 East / Nesconsett Port Jefferson Hwy > CR-97 / Nicolls Rd about 3 miles north into Stony Brook

Now that Syracuse and its fanbase have departed the scene, the question is whether one can just walk up and buy tickets. Army's a smaller school, a bunch of them are deployed elsewhere, we don't know how faithful the Stony Brook fans are, and Virgnia is 400 miles away.

FWIW, Stony Brook had the highest attendance of the Saturday QFs with 4,262. I bet this will sell out before the game.

FWIW, the Sunday forecast for Stony Brook as of Monday is "Showers, maybe a rumble of thunder. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the upper 50s."

As of 2:30 pm ET, SBU website lists 7,110 tickets sold. I drove out there and bought mine in person; the guy at the ticket office said they expect to be sold out by the end of the day.

Unlike the Princeton (football) stadium that hosts the other QF games. Last time there the NCAA (or was it Princeton?) forced everyone to sit on the side opposite the TV cameras so you has virtually every seat in the house apparently filled.
