I heard that CBS will be at Newman Arnea filming... so they can show some tape of a celebration (if it happens).
They are not showing the game, just supposedly having a film crew there.
Just a rumor...

While I'd love to see a clip of the crowd flooding the floor at Newman, I'd really love it to be on Friday night. Somebody please bring a video camera just in case!

Any info on whether or not they'll be announcing the Brown-Princeton scores on Friday? A lot of time coaches request that this not be done so the players can focus on the game at hand.
I'm sure the scores will spread via word of mouth during Cornell's game, but it would be exciting to elicit crowd reactions via updates out loud during the game.

They usually do it at Newman Arena.

Scores from all the Ivy league men's basketball games, for the women's basketball team, and men's hockey team are usually announced throughout the game. If announcements aren't made, it'd be a change from past games at Newman Arena. I haven't heard anything about the coach requesting anything different for this weekend.
As for videotaping Friday, I recall seeing someone near the court videotaping last weekend. I assumed it was someone from Athletics taping for team records or something since they review video of their opponents before games. So if on Friday Cornell wins and Princeton (who is winless on the road) defeats Brown at home, there should hopefully still be some video.

If I remember correctly, ESPN always finds some video of the game where an ivy league champion is crowned because they like to have a little segment about "the first team in the tournament" (other than the locks from the BCS conferences). I don't see any reason why that would be different this year. I know I'm gonna be watching ESPN closely tomorrow night and Saturday night in hopes of getting a glimpse of the fans rushing the court. (But let's not get ahead of ourselves...still gotta win these games or hope Princeton pulls off the upset).

If we win both games it doesn't matter what Princeton does.

Speaking of Harvard basketball, I just noticed in the local real estate transactions that H. Tommy Amaker and Stephanie Pinder Amaker purchased a $1,975,000 house in Mashpee here on Cape Cod, appropriately enough, on Hoophole Road.

I thought he wrote "and Princeton pulls of the upset." That's what I get for trying to read this stuff at 7:30 a.m.

And somehow in a story about Cornell basketbeall ESPN gets in a mention of Harvard hockey.
