Other than not liking him on general principles - the hockey ticket line is always a disaster, the ushers toss out people for using words that rhyme with truck, and the cost of webcasts is creeping up - athletics director Andy Noel has stumbled his way into a weekend where the wrestling is ranked No. 2, the men's basketball team is in the NCAAs again and not a lowly 16-seed, the men's hockey team is in the ECAC semifinals, and the men's lacrosse team is ranked No. 3. Things could be worse.

I think the argument you are making in the body of your post is answering a completely different question than you ask in the title.
My answer is actually a question I posed the last time this came up:
Is winning everything?
Edit: One more question: What the hell is the point to this obviously baiting thread, billhoward? Didn't we all already have our say on this topic in this thread?? Why do you want to get everyone screaming at each other during this weekend of all others? We've got better things to obsess over today, bill.

Even if it is, and even if he's doing a wonderful job as AD because of it, that still doesn't preclude him from being a jerk.RichHbillhoward
