88-75, and we were down by 17 at the half. I didn't hear the game, but it's a very poor result.

Ithaca Journal article on last night's debacle with mucho quotes from Donahue: [theithacajournal.com]
I suppose it's a positive sign that he's now acknowledged his team has neither defense nor half-court offense. I just wonder what took him so long to come to that realization.

Nice to see that Jeff Foote debuted with a double-double; not so nice that the Big Red started playing second-half basketball early in the game.

We still odds-on favorites to win the Ivy League?

Anybody else watching the Syracuse game tonight? The defense hasn't looked awful in the second-half, and suddenly the Big Red is only down by 13.
The offense, on the other hand, hasn't been looking so good. Missing three-pointers all over the place, and Jeff Foote has tripped under his own two feet a couple of time trying to get his own rebound. This could be a closer game.

It's not being televised anywhere besides Ithaca, right?

It's on Time Warner Cable here in Buffalo. I imagine it was broadcast all over Upstate. There was just a really nice post-game interview with Donahue. He downplayed Cornell as the pre-season Ivy League favorite and the need for the team to improve its half-court play.
All in all, the team didn't look bad. They certainly looked more composed than when I saw them play at Harvard last year. Louis Dale is no longer making his rookie mistakes.

Maybe he needs to give them a half-court offense.metaezra

I was sure the bump of this thread meant we'd lost again today. It's a relief we didn't. Anyone else going to the Q Monday?

For those curious, we beat Stony Brook 66-50. And "Bryan" Wittman was our leading scorer.
