Ben DeLuca has been promoted to "Associate Head Coach" in a move presumably (well, pretty explicitly) designed to keep him from taking other offers.

Dave Sarachan ('76) is no longer the coach of ML Soccer's Chicago Fire and Jon Daniels ('99) got a 1 year contract extension as GM of the MLB's Texas Rangers. Daniels is the youngest GM in ML history, and now has a contract through 2009 (this despite posting a 26-43 record this season).

Young GMs are all the rage, but it still doesn't compare with the Ind. Desert Cactus League.
