Hoops: Joe Scott out at Princeton

Now that Princeton winter sports are all backwards with hockey being good (by princeton hockey standards) and basketball being dreadful (by any standard), Coach Joe Scott has left for hockey-mad Denver. ESPN calls it a stunning move, but I'm sure most Tiger fans are dancing as the Scott era was marked by lots of losing.

The most notable piece of the story, which I'd never considered, is:

The end of early admission to Princeton within the past year changed a lot of the recruiting practices for the perennial Ivy League contender.
