Hope all NYC alums make the trip to Levien gym to see the game. Cornell and Columbia are both 1-1 and trying to stay in the title race with Penn. At the very least, Cornell is trying to claim a 2nd place for the second time in three years-- helping to build the groundwork for its expected championship run in '07-'08.

Son of a bitch! Are you kidding me? I'm going to be in Ithaca (but not Lynah) the one weekend that the basketball team comes to New York.
Congratulations, God, you've convinced me that you exist. Now stop jerking me around!
This is going to be a good game, too. The Daily News has started covering Columbia a little; they appear to expect 07-08 to be their chance to make a run also.

Now that I've cancelled my Ithaca trip for the weekend (just got over the flu, don't want to tempt it again), I will be doing my best to make it to this game. Haven't been to Levien since I last worked for Columbia nearly five years ago.

My $0.50:
I went to the game a couple of years ago, and I'd suggest buying your tickets ahead of time to be safe. Being the former sports info brat that I am, I had some comps set aside (read: misplaced by Columbia's ticket office, who made Gene Nighman look like a god among men). When they couldn't find them, I was going to just suck it up and pay, but the game was sold out.
I did make it in, but only after being persistent enough in tracking down the comps that the right people were sufficiently convinced that the comps did exist and I wasn't just fabricating an elaborate ruse to gain entrance to this titanic Ivy clash.
BTW, I do plan on making the trip this time, but whether I do or not is pretty irrelevant since only about 3 people on this board know who I actually am.
