Who’s going to win this thing? Brown cannot beat Stony Brook which is 2-4 but takes down Holy Cross and loses to Harvard by only 3. The Cross beats Harvard by 7. Was Harvard-Brown on week 2 the Ivy title game? Or is it Penn at Harvard 11/14? Penn, picked to finish second behind the Cantabs, only beat Dartmouth by 6 and has two non-league losses as well. Little Lafayette seems to have the Ivies' number this year. Columbia shuts out Princeton 38-0 and puts up 112 points in four games but has a 2-2 record to show for it. Colgate beats every Ivy team although gets taken to OT by Princeton. Princeton seems better than a team with only one, 3-point, victory. We beat Yale which rolls over Dartmouth (not that hard to do this year). Dartmouth is the only team showing consistency: lose by 19, lose by 30, lose by 6, lose by 31. At least Cornell is holding true to recent form with a nice start, 2-0, and then, splat, 2-2.The pre-season media poll had it Harvard, Penn, Brown, then a falloff to Yale, Princeton, Columbia and Cornell (1 point apart), finally Dartmouth.
Yes, I still do care who wins the Ivy football championship. I'd care a lot more if we were in it more often.

I was at the Brown-Stony Brook game. Stony Brook took the lead in the final minute on a touchdown, but Brown drove down the field and had a chance to win it in the final seconds with a 42 yd fg attempt, but it went wide.
