A friend of mine is visiting Ithaca for the first time. She really enjoys visiting local coffee houses. She also happens to be a travel writer. Can you recommend any unique coffee houses for her to visit, either on or off campus.
Thanks,
Robert

The Temple of Zeus isn't still open, is it? How about the Green Dragon in the basement of Sibley?

Is ABC Cafe still around? That kind of hippie vibe is a coffeehouse anachronism.

ABC Cafe is certainly still open. I usually ate there, instead of getting coffee, though, so I never really thought of it as a coffeehouse.
CTB remains my favorite Ithaca coffeehouse, and the standard by which I judge all coffee and bagel places. Nowhere has yet lived up to it.
