Here is what Forbes on-line says about Cornell, 30th out of 100 listed:

Financial GPA: 4.5
Grade: A+
No trace of red ink at Big Red, though its endowment per FTE is dwarfed by some of its elite competitors.

probably a lot of debt associated wit the NYC Tech Campus.
