IIRC, in the past, the Cornell Store used to have a big sale day around the holiday, both in the store and on-line? Does that still happen, and if so when will it be this year?

My nephew needs a new Cornell sweatshirt for the games in Estero and I was hoping to save a few dollars.

TIA.

Yes, it is happening. December 2nd and 3rd.

Two or three years, the Cornell Alumni House regional rep (position no longer staffed in the field) brought a huge box of classic style Cornell sweatshirts, in Carnelian (deep red) with C O R N E L L block lettering on front. For $20 or $25 a sweatshirt. I bought one and loved it and promptly lost it. The Cornell store does not and has not had that style in-store in the past three or four years. If you see Al DeFlorio at a sports event, he has that classic sweatshirt style. It's hard to believe such a style is not in favor with at least some current Cornell store shoppers.

I know that sweatshirt and really like it, too. "Simplicity is the greatest adornment of art." -- Albrecht Durer
