I have been wondering this for years. The club website currently lists Brown, Colgate, Duke, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Stanford, Tulane and Wake Forest Universities as affiliated universities.

Isn't this fairly common though for clubs with such prime locations? The website of the Yale Club (located around the corner from the Cornell Club) says it has 65 reciprocal clubs, including Dartmouth.

Cornell defines reciprocal clubs as other clubs where you can gain access to some or all of their facilities. For example, when I lived in Boston I used my CCNY membership to get access to the squash courts at the Harvard Club in Boston. I had to pay the going rate to use the courts but I did not have to pay extra for membership at the Harvard Club. Alums of the affiliated schools I listed above are being offered actual membership in the Cornell Club and pay the same dues as Cornell grads. Similarly, the Yale Club offers membership to alums of Dartmouth and UVA. The Princeton Club of New York offers membership to Columbia and Penn State grads.
