Check out the second and third paragraphs of this article:
[cornellsun.com]

And then the first two paragraphs from this wikipedia page:
[en.wikipedia.org]

He couldn't have picked a more reliable (and less easily discovered) site to steal from than wikipedia?

The experience is only fun if you do it with a bunch of people, like they are doing here. But if you have a group, and if you get your hands on a berry, I suggest sipping a little white vinegar.

Daily Sun not an exemplar of journalistic excellence.

In other news, dog bites man.

I don't really see much plagiarism in the third graf of the Sun article, other than the first sentence (which doesn't even make sense -- I think he switched sentence structure halfway through). But maybe the wikipedia article got edited since you posted to get rid of references to the logistics of the Cornell event.

The Sun-bashing on these boards is always good fodder for letting me feel smug at the smugness, though. Keep it coming!

Oh man, I totally knew you were going to have this reaction. I'm smug about your being smug at the smugness.

This is a respected form of journalism when practiced online by adults who can't believe how crappy the pay is for blogging. It is now repurposing.

Curiously, the article has now disappeared from the Sun's website, and also from the author's list of published works.

Congratulations. The free press is safe in your hands.

Thanks...I've got nothing better to do with my Cornell degree these days, so nitpicking Sun articles and getting them deleted gives me those little daily pleasures in life. ;)

The current Sun readership can thank me officially at a later date.
